i lived in the kids part, york woods. but its crazy none of this looks familar. i just wish i could remember more, and wished i would have gone and seen it befor they tore it down.

are we talking about the same ypsi? this one was at willis road and 23. it wasnt actually IN ypsi, they just called it that. it was technically in york township.

@bagaauwk im in allen park, yes we are mos def talkin about the same place. i use to get into a lot of fights with my twin and kids in school so i ended up in the kids building (single story) back in 89-90. a bus would take us to another building for school. i can remember the unit i was on clear as day, the bedrooms, the time out rooms, my walkman and alice cooper "trash."

@ChrisRizz2011 if youre still in the area, i cant show u some stuff that was "liberated" before demo. all my pix and video, etc.

there were only the main building, the powerhouse, pumphouse, and maint building left when we started going. half was closed, half was used to house the criminally insane.

a doc wrote a book called "the 3 christs" or something. these 3 guys who were committed there, got 3 people who all thought they were jesus, and put them in the same room.
