yes, not my direct friend, an acquaintance who is really good at dancing. that's probably why he made it in, and flair is like, stage presence and just the way someone carries themself. it can be something like performance ability, if u have flair, u might not be the best dancer or singer but u know how to put on a show.
i thought i was the best singer ever, so i tried out for sm. i failed one year; made it past the first three auditions the next, and the year after that (two years ago) i FINALLY got to become a trainee. And now, i go four days a week to my studio in new york, and practice five hours a day.
i love singing but it gets really hard all the time
we dont train and sweat our asses off just 2 become famous. its for the passion of singing. i love it. but it interfered with my schoolwork and such so i made a break in my contract recently, like a month ago. so im on a break for seven months, and then ill decide whether i want 2 terminate my contract or keep training n i havent decided yet. sry if i sound rude im just getting a little emotional.

i only auditioned once i think i meant to say that you should audition a lot cuz a lot of ppl failed the first second and third times even. i was accepted on the first try
but you have to go through about 4 rounds in order to become a star.
if you pass the first try yu battle with the other accepted winners. and repeat the process like 3 or 4 times. then only a small amount gets sent/accepted to be a trainee
Sm only goes for looks cause they avoid forcing their artists to have plastic surgery. Plus, the good thing about SM is that she think everyone has talent.
erm.. from what ive heard, they dont only choose you based on your singing or dancing, they see it you've got "it". i dont really know what the"it " is but i guess its got to do with whether or not you look like a star.
It = Charisma...or some distinct personality or "cuteness" that'll make people like you as celebrities. Or you have to be unusually good at singing/dancing. But it's not like they'll choose someone who's really really pretty but can't sing at all. You have to be relatively alright w/ pitch and rhythm, or average at singing w/ tons of personality/uniqueness.
Yeah! You could audition whether for singing, dancing, acting, modeling, etc. But If you audition for singing, they will ask you to dance a few seconds or a minute after your singing audition.. And if you audition for dancing, they will ask you to sing after..

@remnantpark You really need to read the critics article about SNSD.
I copy-pasted this statement from Park Sunjoo's criticism on Tiffany from the real article:
[Her vocal skills are ranked number 2 in the group and her voice is more feminine than Taeyeon. She has a girly-like sweet voice. But her voice is quite weak in expressing the feelings of the songs.]
You'd think Jessica or Seohyun would be the 2nd best vocals but no, its Tiffany. Gosh, antis these days... tsk tsk <.<

@winnietehpoohie And you really lack discernment. That latter statement says a lot. As a musician, I can safely say that people who can't express feelings in songs/music are not musicians. And people who can do that and sing better than Tiffany don't get any money. It's b/c she is an idol. Yeah she's #2 in the group...a group that can't even sing. Idc. That criticism means nothing to me. I'm not an anti. I don't like pop. There are a few exceptions..like CSJH. Stephanie is awesome in this video!

You don't deserve to be called a "musician" if you tell someone they can't sing. Everyone CAN sing, even a tone deaf person with the right amount of training. SNSD girls have been training for more than 5-7 years to perfect the singing, dancing, synchronization. Before she's an idol, Tiffany is a real person just like anybody else, she auditioned for SM just like everyone else.

@immagetgoing I'm pretty sure that Tiffs nickname is mushroom, and she even said herself that she can't dance and someone else agreed. She can go through a routine and perform it well, but she can't "dance"

I love Stephanie so much! ♥ She's amazing and she's definitely a triple threat! She's gorgeous, has a lovely voice and her dancing just blows my mind. She's sucha strong and powerful dancer, even back then! 8D
I really wish SM would bring them back to Korea ;_; Or pay more attention to them because CSJH The Grace has so much talent. It'd be a waste to let them rot without getting any attention T____________T Stupid SM.

hmm i think sm goes for looks AND talent, or at least most of the time. look at SHINee and DBSK, looks AND talent. and my friend made it into YG and JYP, and they both said that he would have to do plastic surgery. SM is not the only company that forces plastic surgery... :) but the big 3 are all jiiang, right?

yes, not my direct friend, an acquaintance who is really good at dancing. that's probably why he made it in, and flair is like, stage presence and just the way someone carries themself. it can be something like performance ability, if u have flair, u might not be the best dancer or singer but u know how to put on a show.

its not easy, trust me
i thought i was the best singer ever, so i tried out for sm. i failed one year; made it past the first three auditions the next, and the year after that (two years ago) i FINALLY got to become a trainee. And now, i go four days a week to my studio in new york, and practice five hours a day.

i love singing but it gets really hard all the time
we dont train and sweat our asses off just 2 become famous. its for the passion of singing. i love it. but it interfered with my schoolwork and such so i made a break in my contract recently, like a month ago. so im on a break for seven months, and then ill decide whether i want 2 terminate my contract or keep training n i havent decided yet. sry if i sound rude im just getting a little emotional.

thank you so much. but i took a break for seven months in april bcuz of all the stress i was recieving. im actually an straight A+ honor roll student but i was falling way behind on my grades bcuz i was sleeping at like two or three so im going to take a break, and resume my training in november

i only auditioned once i think i meant to say that you should audition a lot cuz a lot of ppl failed the first second and third times even. i was accepted on the first try

but you have to go through about 4 rounds in order to become a star.
if you pass the first try yu battle with the other accepted winners. and repeat the process like 3 or 4 times. then only a small amount gets sent/accepted to be a trainee

Sm only goes for looks cause they avoid forcing their artists to have plastic surgery. Plus, the good thing about SM is that she think everyone has talent.

erm.. from what ive heard, they dont only choose you based on your singing or dancing, they see it you've got "it". i dont really know what the"it " is but i guess its got to do with whether or not you look like a star.

It = Charisma...or some distinct personality or "cuteness" that'll make people like you as celebrities. Or you have to be unusually good at singing/dancing. But it's not like they'll choose someone who's really really pretty but can't sing at all. You have to be relatively alright w/ pitch and rhythm, or average at singing w/ tons of personality/uniqueness.

Yeah! You could audition whether for singing, dancing, acting, modeling, etc. But If you audition for singing, they will ask you to dance a few seconds or a minute after your singing audition.. And if you audition for dancing, they will ask you to sing after..
