I bough the original Street Fighter IV but i was so bad i gave up hope. Today I Just Bought Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and...... i still suck but i'm going to practice practice practice!

It's fair enough to say that the game is very noob friendly, and you'd like to see more people join the fighting game community, But when it comes to street fighter, noobs are always gonna be punished by the more experienced players, and loose confidence and may ultimately loose interest. It also doesnt help when you're opponent is so immature and petty that they need to talk smack and put you down after they win to make themselves feel big. It's a tough community to be accepted in sometimes.

@finalfuu Well I don´t quite know how detailed I have to explain it, you sure know some things about Focus Cancel after all. To Focus Cancel, press Focus Attack, and while pressing the buttons, dash back or forward. While dashing, stop pressing the buttons for Focus Attack. It´s that simple, just try a few times to get the timing straight. Imo it´s even easier to do when you hit the opponent with Level 2 or 3 Focus, because I think the input timing is a bit longer at that point.

@thr3d3er focus attack dash cancel is when u hold mp + mk and dash out of it... u can fadc out of most moves to link certain combos, but it costs 2 super metres every time u do it during a combo... go to shoryuken.c(o)m, it is pretty much like the unofficial street fighter website

I'd love to see more SSF4 strategy. I love the game, but at medium and higher, a lot of the fighters are like running into a brick wall. They have an answer for any offense I try, and I feel powerless.

Like Ryu... he throws a fireball, and you either block it, or jump and get hit in the air. Same with Guile, who uses a similar set up.

@MrDaaark As far as projectiles go, there are a lot of ways around them in SSF4. If they throw them at a bad distance from mid-range, you can react with a jump-in attack and hit them before they can recover. Also, some characters have moves that go through or under fireballs, like Abel's roll and Blanka's slide. And lastly, you can focus absorb non-ex fireballs and dash forward to close the distance, or just focus absorb to build ultra meter if you have an ultra that can go through fireballs.

I think you should make "episodes" for each aspect of the game. E.g. one could be about throws and the mix-ups you can get from them since they can't quick stand. You could then talk about cross-ups and overheads from there and even go into tick-throws.

Another episode could be about Focus Attacks, you could then talk about DP -> FADC -> Ultra for most characters and how you can FADC most specials to make them safe on block. Another one could be about juggles, ect.
