It's not a hack, it was more of a fix. It dealed with the slowdowns MS2 usually had from time to time, plus it added some new weapons and enemies.

MS2 On level 8 difficulty is a bitch.

This song is inaccurately titled (Happinet's mistake though, not yours).

'Scene of a Hard Battle' is actually the regular boss song, not Stage One.

Yeah, some of the songs on the soundtrack seems to have the wrong titles. I didn't know that until after I found the boss theme labeled as "Snowy Road", which is Stage 3's theme.

I think the same. MS4 was the hardest, then MS3, and then the rest... Perhaps they're all hard, but one gets used to them, and become really easy. And starts wishing there were more titles :'(
