Disney cut S/S 2 because of the amount of sells, their are more reasons but i h8 going through them, and don't take my old comment aggressively i said that because S/S is literally over, unless BR can get a better publisher like CAPCOM or something

@sonicGTA No, Disney is not worse then EA, because they still put creativity and beauty into some of their motion pictures, even though that level has gone down from their early years.

EA doesen't cancel cliffhangers because they know that they'll be able to hype the living crap out of the sequel with movie-like pre-rendered trailers, and taking people's hope for a better game and using it to pull in customers.

My comment is also still valid for this game, because Blackrock made it timeless.

I heard this soundtrack before I had ever heard of the game, and I totally thought this was the soundtrack of some epic, dead serious first-person shooter game or whatnot. But then it's for a racing game. And somehow that makes it even more god damn amazing. Thumbs up all the way to the bank.

The part from 3:10 and to end is so magnificent and great. When it comes on and you activate a 2nd lvl power play and watch any of the Elite racers turn into a flaming ball of twisted of metal while you drift 300 yards crossing the finish line FIRST!!

I give Disney and Blackrock props for this game. I've never been much of a racing game fan until I was recommended Split/Second by a good friend. I do not regret buying this game one bit, and the soundtrack is sheer perfection for this style of a game. They captured it really well, and honestly, I'm hoping they follow on that Cliffhanger.

More games need well made ORIGINAL soundtracks like this, rather than some mainstream mediocre garbage that gets pumped out on a daily basis for nothing but money and gets outdated in a week.

It all seemed to die out around 2003, (When Electronic Arts started to care more about money than quality of product)

I'm glad Blackrock and Disney didn't decide to go down the same road with this game, It's now one of my all-time favourites.

this is the best racing game I have ever played. Best since Burnout 2 for sure and the PC version is soo pretty ^_^ A great $40 investment...sucks that its only 30 FPS though
