@stoob1969 No , there was many polugins like this before -livecut ,effectrix,dblue glitch,turnado,artillery ,devine machine lucifer,etc . this nothing creative at this point , most overused bank of effects , that kind of effects like stutter were ''in'' circa 1994-96

What a great preset to use for the stutter effect! I noticed that this preset isn't available with the installation. Can it be downloaded elsewhere on the iZotope site?

this shit effect is so easily overdone, and for the rare times where its use may be appropriate, it can be achieved within the host easily, no expensive plugin necessary.

@meninrevolt I was about to say the same thing, I can cut up a sample in ableton and get it to do the same thing. I guess this plugin lets you control the stutter better for live performance?

lol! uve got ableton live behind i rather sttutter my vocals in acid or somehow to a vdj you can use gateway too..ithink its up to you to do so..from my opinion use a software where you are proficient..

@MrJoeFlat ...to make your natural stutter sound more hip, I would suggest downloading the VST to your brain and rebooting. You'll find it much more effective, especially when singing karaoke at a bar.

So if I wanted to have my whole song stutter WITHOUT the vocals stuttering would I have to load StutterEdit on each individual track and do it manually?

@King622 No, just route every track minus the vocals to a bus (also called a group track) and insert Stutter Edit on the bus

@King622 You can put the effect on a bus channel, route everything but the vocals through that and out to Master or where ever.
