Nice, you do not need to worry about it sinking if you happen to go down on water :-) The slave receiver antenna should not be parallel to the main receiver antenna, for best diversity it should be angled differently, best is to have one antenna vertically.. For close flying, it might not matter at all.. You probably know this already, if not do a search for " Antennas 101 - Polarization, Diversity & Gain Patterns" on vimeo.. Great video.. Looking forward to some air videos from this tri !!!
@petleh82 Thanks didn't know that. It reaches about 2km in the parallel setting (but that was using a DX7 tx. The good thing about the spektrum is that you notice a slight flickering behavior of the model before loosing control. It is quite obvious when flying FPV so you know when to turn back.
