Excellent view over Paris indeed. Visited 7 times but never seen it like this.

How I wish I knew more, any help most appreciated, with the following 5 questions.

What building is that at 7.16? Is that the place du Bastille or place du Republique at 7.28? What's the name of the gardens at 8.08 ?

The 4 buildings with the garden in the centre at 8.49? And finally, the unusual building with the grass verges at 9.25?

Paris looks so quiet in this vid.. Last time I was there (two years ago or something) there was no way you'd stand in line for the Notre Dame.

Anyway they really ought to give the Monterparnasse a reclad. Either an art deco style or probably better/safer a mirror finish that will make it blend in/mirror the surroundings. Right now it's a giant black obelisk!

pack some warm stuff.. winters are not usually so cold in Paris but you never now.. As what you must see: Le louvre, montmartre, notre dame, centre george Pompidou, latin quarter, and so much more ;-)

J'adore Paris,mais je n'arrive toujours pas à comprendre comment un bâtiment aussi affreux que le "Centre Pompidou" ait pu être intégré dans le style Hausmannien propre à la capitale.Ce centre fait vraiment "tâche" dans Paris...

Very cool. I'm not sure how correct this is but it's my understanding that it is very very difficult to obtain a flying permit over Paris. I wonder if that's why the helicopter is always above the Seine River. Even when it looks like it's far from the river you notice the camera was zooming from the river or from outside the city-proper(suburbs)
