Yes they are fun and the wifi battles have laging in it most of the time and that can mess up your attacking stategy and make your moves very predictable. But these guys' connection to eachother might have been good to the point where there hardly isn't lag in it.

It's not made to be a game wheir you have to play like everyone else.

I play with Mario, I play in places other than Final Destination. And I set my items on very low, bbut I turn off the hammer. I do this because it is my taste in gaming.

Their is nothing wrong with selecting a level other than Final destination or playing with items.

i've had my japanese wii since october, the idea of importing smash didn't come to mind until the delay of the dec 03rd release date.

The online is kinda buggy at this time, the controls seem to have a 1.5 second delay, hopefully that will be fixed soon.

it's probably because the information is being sent to and from japan, hopefully when the game is released here, we will be able to connect to the north american smash network.

I'm not surprised. It's not that he's a bad player, it's just that someone who takes SSBB as seriously as MarioCenter (judging by the enormous amount of media he's uploaded of it) isn't very likely to lose that often. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised of our MarioCenter has won money in the past at official Smash tournaments (maybe not Brawl yet, but definitely Melee).

Music is unlockable and just like in SSBM you can hold L and R after the intro and go into the main menu to change the music, you can also set the probability of a different tune playing when you naturally enter the games menu.

It depends what you want to do with it. You can buy other popular Japanese games that won't come outside of Japan for awhile (or ever). Also, it can be used to play Gamecube games that never came out of Japan either. Also, I'm curious if you can buy things on the Japanese Shop Channel, too.

With the hopefully inevitable release of a Freeloader for the Wii (would allow the Wii to play games otherwise blocked by the region lock), you'd be able to play games outside of Japan.
