The thing I didn't like about the child with Doris was Doris' choice of words. She knows her daughter had a hard year and may have a very low self-esteem right now, but she didn't try to be supportive.
By supportive I don't mean supporting Sharon's relationship with Adam. She could have tried to do what Adam is doing right now ( boosting Sharon's self confidence) with a right choice of words. Perhaps she could have convinced Sharon that she could do better as single for a while.
At the end of the day Sharon wasn't more comfortable around her mom than around Nick and Jack, which is really sad.

Yeah the line was priceless. Because that is exactly what Shick was in the beginning. Before Nick became a cheater. Nick was the guy who saved her. Sharon was the girl on the wrong side of the tracks. It was priceless, because to see how much they have changed, and their relationship. He wanted to save her from Matt and make her his wife. He wanted to give her everything she didn't have. He wanted to be her provider, protector, and her everything. And she let him, he was those things for the most part. Now things are very much different, Nick stopped being those things when he pursued an affair and a relationship with Phyllis. But Nick in his delusional mind thought he could still be the man in Sharon's life and Phyllis' husband. Well he just got a big dose of reality.

I LOVED the Shick fight....OMG it was so GOOD. I loved what Sharon told Nick. The little girl from the other side of the tracks, who needs some prince to ride in and rescue her, line was absolutely perfect.
I agree, also during Shick's fight the chemistry was magnificent. Great scenes. As much as the storyline has made me furious with Shick, they are undeniably meant to be.
I know Nick was ACTUALLY responsive. He didn't just stand there staring, he got emotional and he got angry and there was passion. I know he just wanted to grab Sharon, that's what he usually does when he's not getting through to her. I just loved how Sharon dismissed him.

They have great chemistry. I think the actors know that too. I worked so well together. Almost like they are having fun with it

Sharon talked about Brad's death. I didn't think we'd ever hear that again. She was trying to fill a void she felt when he died. I've always thought if Brad hadn't died she never would've went over the deep end like that. Her guilt ruled her and she felt like a bad person, so she acted accordingly.

for once i actually believe sharon when she says she wants a life that doesnt include nick. hope she sticks to that no matter what goes down with adam.
then nick keeps saying "im done". then be done! stay away from her. stop looking for excuses to see her. one day its so he can tell her about a snowmobile, then he picks a fight with her about it so he has an excuse to go back the next day n apologise. pick up a phone if u must or send an email. i hope this is the last time they have this convo.

Yeah the line was priceless. Because that is exactly what Shick was in the beginning. Before Nick became a cheater. Nick was the guy who saved her. Sharon was the girl on the wrong side of the tracks. It was priceless, because to see how much they have changed, and their relationship. Sharon hit him hard with that line, because Nick still thinks of her in that way. He thinks he can save her and only him. But I am with you Shick forever!!

He wanted to save her from Matt and make her his wife. He wanted to give her everything she didn't have. He wanted to be her provider, protector, and her everything. And she let him, he was those things for the most part. Now things are very much different, Nick stopped being those things when he pursued an affair and a relationship with Phyllis. But Nick in his delusional mind thought he could still be the man in Sharon's life and Phyllis' husband. Well he just got a big dose of reality.

"Phyllis and I are in love" that is HILARIOUS Nick! LIke what he has with Phyllis is something to aspire to. Phick are MISERABLE. What Sharon described her relationship with Adam is the EXACT opposite of what Phick have. And even though Adam isn't what he seems Sharon is happy WITHOUT Nick. And I'm glad she finally put her foot down and told Nick to get the HELL out of her life.

RefuseTORegret, there definately needs to be more Shilly. It doesn't even have to be romantic...I'd settle with them being BFFs like Phyllis and Michael. i have loved ever scene the two of them have ever had. They're fun together.

Billy and Abby are made of win. I loved that they told Sharon she can do better right in front of Adam. I can't believe Adam is depriving Nick and Sharon of their daughter's first Christmas.

I LOVED the Shick fight....OMG it was so GOOD. I loved what Sharon told Nick. The little girl from the other side of the tracks, who needs some prince to ride in and rescue her, line was absolutely perfect.

I agree, also during Shick's fight the chemistry was magnificent. Great scenes. As much as the storyline has made me furious with Shick, they are undeniably meant to be.

I know Nick was ACTUALLY responsive. He didn't just stand there staring, he got emotional and he got angry and there was passion. I know he just wanted to grab Sharon, that's what he usually does when he's not getting through to her. I just loved how Sharon dismissed him.
