It's a bad idea to show where you lost the thing, because people can steal it if they are a twitter follower but you don't know they are. 'Hey I lost my iPhone at (wherever) so if you see it at (wherever) let me know' and someone steals it and never says a word.

I seen a bluetooth one that works simply by working out how weak the signal gets, would probably be MUCH more cost effective than this
