For everyone calling this fake or whatever, it's not the master bass track off the original war pigs. It's a cover that was made for the Rock Band DLC.
@cfredrics In 1968/69 there were no "Roundwounds"to put on a bass,it was flats or nothing, his tone was from a blown guitar amp in which "he hated". While recording he was troubled by his sound, its only later on did he realize this tone is beloved by "COUNTLESS" fans, musicians and critics,His amp which he HATED turned out to be his signature sound,he said" I cant bloody believe it,people loved me sound that I got from a crappy amp,it was crazy"So I kept it for me fans to enjoy"
@cottonfever1221 Rotosound was making roundwounds in 1962 (with the help of John Entwistle), and he gave an interview where he said those were the strings he used.
as a bassist and sabbath fan,first-where are your ears?-and lastly you're a little ill equipped-and tone washing w/distortion pedals wont help you, listen to it and a lot more before putting yourself in the ring,no disrespect, just critizing because the internet allows
@edelozier23 Actually when you get used to playing by ear you can learn pretty quick that way.. I usually spend more time staring at tabs than I do playing along with a song, personally.
@edelozier23 Learning by ear actually does end up making you better because it trains your ears to be able to recognize sounds, which can help you when jamming with other people. Also, it works just as fast once you get better at it. Just like reading tabs. And it can be useful when you can't find tabs for a song or correct ones.
Holy CRAP!!! That's the BASS!!! I've always loved Geezer, but this definitely puts him at my top three bass players of all time, not that he wasn't already up there... Thanks for posting.
I'm glad I got to see them one last time before Ronnie passed. Long live Dio and Sabbath!!!

Fake. And if you're going to try to pass this shit off as real, lose the fucking delay, and put some flatwounds on.
