  • no boxes were harmed

  • the lion in the beginning was like: what the hell?? lol

  • Well, I guess that curiosity didn't always kill the cat after all. XD

  • and God made animals for Humans amusement. Not!

  • ALL cats love cardboard!

btw, how cool looking is Tsonga?!

  • &The whole time the boxes were screaming; "Help Me."

  • i tink usa need tag tigers so they are not steal or to shot at so you keep your tigers save from hunter`s i love tigers but that does not mean i wand one for real lolz its a killer cat when i sleep the tiger eats me lol whats cute wil be later lots of truble if they grow biger lolz

  • Adorable!!

  • Who would of thought a lion would be scared of a cardboard Giraffe. lol.

  • The kids did a great job.

  • Great thing for these kids to appreciate the tigers, hopefully they will spread the word that tigers are badass!

  • Cute. How many animals do you have by the way seems like alot ^^

  • @ToritheKitty 100+ definitely keeps us busy! :)

  • @BigCatRescue wow thats alot thanks for replying :)

  • These cats are beautiful! Are any of these in Nj? If so, please tell me where!

  • @xXNyaMaddieNyaXx We are not associated with any other sanctuaries, Big Cat Rescue is located in Tampa Florida :)

  • Wow it seems like simba is the most clean cat.

  • happy children..happy kitties...what could go wrong?

  • Lol I love cats. :)

  • haha! Big bad Nikita afraid of a cardboard giraffe LOL :)

  • heeheh very cool, thanks

  • that precious and cuddly kittens

  • I LOVE watching these big cats play and be happy. We need more people to save the big cats like bcr is

  • Cat seem to be happy ^^

  • heh. first time I remember seeing you in sunglasses!

  • @ashtonmommi526 The Akron Zoo and the Cleveland Zoo, both in Ohio, also give painted models like this to their big cats (search for Akron zoo enrichment day to see their lions with one). Both zoos are fully accredited by the AZA, the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, and have to pass a rigorous inspection every few years to stay that way. If certified, monitored zoos have no problem giving these things to its cats then why shouldn't BCR do the same?

  • Happy kitties! How do you guys attach all this together? Is there some kind of non-toxic glue you use?

  • @AnnePackrat Exactly, we use non toxic glue or sometimes no glue

  • Doesn't Simba look a bit, erm, fatty ?

  • FREE Tony the Truck Stop Tiger!! Let this be his new home before it's too late! :(

  • @NotsoNutso What is going on with Tony? Last I checked the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Dept was headed for court, but then it got another delay.

Tony has been in a cage over all his life - 10 years - next to diesel fumes at a crummy gas stop in Louisiana. Tony's "owner" Michael Sandlin has bought, sold, bred and exhibited tigers for over 20 years...He needs to be charged as what he has done to these tigers is criminal.

Please keep me posted and spread the word on Tony the Tiger!

  • For those of you who badmouth or have doubts of Big Cat Rescue, need to get a grip! Show me a sanctuary or place in North America treat big cats as well as Big Cat Rescue? NONE, Nada! The US governments haven't even done enough to protect these animals from being abused. Big Cat Rescue never use their cats for commercial means. They also don't breed big cat babies so that there would be no more cubs growing up in cages. There are vets and volunteers helping the cats. They're like Red Cross!

  • Who does your music?

  • @xJustynLx We purchase royalty free music and use free tracks on iMovie :)

  • There's been a lot of talk over this video as to whether it's safe to give wild cats raw meat, cardboard covered in scents, crayon/marker drawings, and paint. BCR has spent a lot of time and money to see these cats(who have either imprinted on humans & can't be released into the wild, or have been treated poorly/harmed accidentally by humans)be respected and treated humanely. They've made such an effort to save these animals. Would they really give them harmful objects/substances? I think not.

  • @kdolive89 In addition, do give these cats some credit. Even domestic house cats don't generally eat things that might be harmful. Their larger, more intelligent and instinctive cousins would no doubt do the same, or maybe even be more wary of such things. We are talking about some of the largest carnivores of the animal kingdom. These guys are very smart!

  • did you hide treats in all the models or just some of them ?

  • @deepeyes001 All of them had food treats inside :)

  • That was fun to watch, all the cats look healthy and happy you could tell they had fun.

  • tonga is gorgeous! white several is amazing

  • wow like it very nice thnks...

  • HAHAHAAHAH that lion was afraid... I can't believe it

  • Itty bitty or giant, kitties love boxes.

  • EVERYBODY REMEMBER TO CLICK ON THE ADVERTISEMENT TO THE RIGHT. IF YOU DO, BIG CAT RESCUE GETS A SMALL PERCENTAGE AND IT HELPS THEM MAINTAIN THE CATS!

  • @whiskerchild

Do you happen to know if clicking multiple times makes a difference?

  • @sdrawkcabgnipytmi

Yes, if you get out of the site, and then go back to it.

  • @sdrawkcabgnipytmi No, it will only register once every day or something.. Think about it for a second, anyone with a basic knowledge of computers would be able to program something to click it, go back, and click it again.. And do it like 10 times per second.

  • @K4inan

Yea I thought about someone writing a bot like that after I posted...

  • @sdrawkcabgnipytmi I do it to sometimes.. I tend to talk without thinking it through =)

  • @whiskerchild Advertisement? Last time I saw a youtube Ad was several months ago. Thanks to AdBlock <3

  • Nikita: what the hell is this thing

  • now i gotta find ashtonzmommi526 comment thanks.......

  • Loved it :)

  • Alex is so cute!

  • What is the white cat?

  • @DocIdo its a white Serval, they're generally spotted cats

  • @DocIdo He's a white serval I believe.

  • @DocIdo Yep, Tonga is a white serval, we have two at the sanctuary, they're the only two that we know of in the world!

  • Heh, my regular old house cat loves to shredd any cardboard boxes we have in the house too.

  • That was so cool and very entertaining for cats and views alike.

  • They sure have a lot of entertainment. Love the videos!!!

  • did u ever release any of them to their natural habitat?

  • @unknownnarutofan As far as I remember they only release local bobcats that need rehab or medical attention back into the wild. The Lions and tigers and servals and mountain lions are not equipped to live in the wild anymore.

  • @unknownnarutofan This happens very, very rarely, our cats are from backyards/fur farms etc... their genetic history cannot be traced and they are not eligible for breeding programs or release.

  • what kind of tiger is Alex? I just read his bio. It was horrible what he and the 2 other survivors had to go through.

  • @wesmartino64 Bengal/siberian, he's a very handsome tiger and we're glad he's at BCR :)

  • @BigCatRescue Thanks for the info. What you've done for him is great. I hope his fugitive original owner is captured. They should make her live in a metal barrel for a few months, like some of her former captive animals had to do.

  • did any of the kids get eaten?

  • how can u get into one of these summer camps?

  • @TALONandSPLAT Check out the link in the description to this video for more info :)

  • Do they get their heads stuck in the boxes like little cats might if you give them a box to play with?

  • @RadarKat73080 Sometimes, but not for long! :)

  • @BigCatRescue lol Somebody please get video of that!

  • 2:06 K.O

    ALEX WINS

  • mmmmm Paint! Delicious! lol

  • cardboard carnage! cute vid :)

  • Thanks to the campers who made the enrichment for the cats. They certainly loved it!

  • thanks again guys!

  • i dont know why this video made me cry, happy tears though :)

  • cats*ohhh boxes i hope theres a present inside oooh raw meat* cats*nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom*

  • @ashtonzmommi526 I listened to your opinion, and you raise a good point about the paints and cardboard not being healthy for the cats, but it cant really be that unhealthy for them. They spend thousands of dollars on food each year, so they defeinately care about the cats so i dont think they would give the cats anything that could harm them. But your opinion is still respected by me, as all opinions deserve respect dont they?

  • OH GOD THE GORE!!!!

  • OMG that is sooooo cute :) --- Sent From BigCatRescue's AppRats (Facebook App)!

  • You guys have the greatest jobs on the face of the planet!!!

  • The big cats: Boxes are scary..

    *kids bring in the boxes*

    The big cats: Ooooh! Boxes!!

  • @pemchem XD

The big cats: *start nomming and destroying the boxes* Mmmmm... Boxess....

  • @pokemonluver32299 I used to watch re-runs from this British kids' TV show from the 70s called Roobarb, and it was about a dog and a cat, mainly about the dog (the cat was a supporting character), and there was one episode where the dog ate chocolate covered books. This kind of reminds of that lol.

  • @pemchem X3 Yeah. It does, doesn't it?

  • @ashtonzmommi526 I didnt ask for your opinion

  • Definition of a sanctuary....A place of refuge or safety. I'm pretty sure that they BUY these animals from people who couldnt care for them in the first place. I dont condone people (not BCR) buying these animals, they should be in the wild If these cats were released in the wild they would more than likely not last long. They have been too close to human contact for too many years,so this is the last resort for them. BCR keep up the good work

  • @danceswithdog61ire07 NOT a place where you purchase animals AT AUCTION for your own monetary gain

  • @danceswithdog61ire07 Hi, thank you for your support, we rescue these cats from bad situations and provide them with a permanent home for the rest of their lives, we do not buy our cats as this would be fueling the trade in these animals and we require the owners to sign a contract stating that they will never own another exotic cat.

  • @BigCatRescue I appreciate tht you have replied to any of my comments that i have made on your videos. I am aware that you dont buy any of the animals. As you may have noticed there was another hater on this video who was uneducated about these animals and the work that you do. Admiration for the work that you do to help these cats is amazing and I havent seen any video where the cats are not happy so dont understand the haters.

  • Nice. :)

  • @ashtonzmommi526 It's not for BCR's "enjoyment." It's called enrichment; it benefits the cats. And it's not cruel, sheesh. I really don't think they swallow that much, and if they do, they probably spit it up when coughing up furballs.

  • @ashtonzmommi526 Stop complaining and do something about it if it bothers you that much. Christ... Did you e-mail or call BCR to complain and say that you hate their methods to their face? Maybe you should go work for them, and teach them how to turn the place around. And I'm pretty sure where the cats live now is much better than where they were rescued from. It's not as good as being in the wild, but it's better than being in a small cage!

  • @ashtonzmommi526 That's a ridiculous argument... Considering a human child wouldn't consume fur, bones, raw meat. Most markers and paints (I'm sure BCR took it into consideration) are water soluble and are safe even for your child to use or accidentally consume. Hell, my cats chase around paper balls and pieces of cardboard that they grab from the recycling bin and with no ill affects. I'm sure the larger cats can handle a little cardboard and water-based paints/markers. Grow up, troll.

  • @ashtonzmommi526 btw the markers or paint is non toxic, BCR would NEVER let cats ingest any posion. COME ON!

  • @ashtonzmommi526 and thank GOD you are not the only "human being" in this area! at least the others actually realize how good this sanctuary is to these cats. you think they can't digest a few ounces of most likely non-toxic paint and marker while they eat much deadlier things in the wild? get over yourself.

  • @rweeezy Oh please..If it had anything to do with me it would be one thing but it's not. If this was an actual ANIMAL SANCTUARY you'd figure the BEST interest of the ANIMAL would be important NOT their quick dollar. If anyone needs to get over themselves..it would be you. ;) Get your facts straight before you talk about something you OBVIOUSLY know nothing about. These people BUY their animals..HOW is that SAVING them?

  • @ashtonzmommi526 You tell him to get his facts straight when you should get yours straight. Most of the animals they rescue from previous owners that don't take care of them. Or should I start my sentence out with "Oh please.." They do buy them from other people who abuses them and just keeps them in there cage backyard. These tigers play with these painted cardboards for years. None of them had problem. So maybe watch more of there vids before you consider something stupid.

  • @RBLXBurntoast78 I know someone that worked there..do you? Get YOUR facts straight and do your research. Obviously you're all so ignorant that you can't even deal with someone NOT agreeing with you. I feel sorry for all of you. Ignorance IS NOT bliss in your case.

  • @ashtonzmommi526 Obviously you completely ignored everything i said. I also know barack o bama!! We always go to yogurt land together!! Bull shit right? Same as your story. If this was a bad company then there would be videos saying they abuse which there isn't and probably a lot of dislikes. And you didn't agree with me. I'm trying to defend bigcatrescue because I know that they have a kind heart.

  • @RBLXBurntoast78 They certainly do have a kind heart. The enrichment is for both the visitors and the animals. Getting kids involved and interested in big cats can help them become educated. Then, over time, hopefully less people will be buying wild animals for their own selfish gain. BCR rules!!!

  • @TenouHaruka0 YEAH!! BCR rules and ashton drools!!

  • @ashtonzmommi526 well if you insist, they have to buy them in order to save them. also, a few of these cats were abandoned by their owners and left to die. Big Cat Rescue paid nothing to get them other than to maybe get a permit to take them. you think letting kids make them animal boxes filled with meat is "a quick dollar"? they don't have to do these enrichment's, they could just throw a piece of meat everyday at them... THAT would be a "quick dollar"..

  • @rweeezy Do your research that's ALL i have to say about that. DONT believe everything they're feeding you. It's B.S. I know someone that worked there and she told me HORROR stories. So unless you work there or know someone that did..I'd do your research b4 you go acting like you know it all.

  • @ashtonzmommi526 "I'd do your research b4 you go acting like you know it all."

    bahaha oh, the irony.

  • @ashtonzmommi526 then how do you trust your know it all friend? she might be lying, and how do you know? huh?? any proof? i know BCR has proof. all the LIVE rescues, and seeing how happy the cats are. COME ON!

  • Respond to this video... I think it's time for all of you to grow up and act like adults. We're not in high school and this isn't debate class. I have every right to my OWN opinion. Just because you are all ignorant to the fact that this place is a joke does NOT mean I am wrong. Look it up if you don't believe me. Heck! APPLY there and work there for 2 days and THEN tell me this place is on the up and up.

  • @ashtonzmommi526 Take your argument to a private chat, please. Nobody else gives a flying f**k.

  • @ashtonzmommi526 Why don't you do that first? Instead of get your facts from a moron.

  • @ashtonzmommi526 @ashtonzmommi526 "All you animal lovers out there should actually put in some volunteer hours at one of these establishments before speaking negatively and showing your ignorance on a subject you obviously know nothing abo"

This is what you told someone else on another video showing a tiger cub being cared for. You said that the place being shown in the video is a sanctuary, but then here, you don't consider BCR to be a sanctuary as well? What exactly is your definition of one?

  • @ashtonzmommi526 We are not talking about opinions; we are talking about facts. Your FACTS are wrong.

  • @ashtonzmommi526 THEY RESCUE! OMGOSH GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT! THEY RESCUE FROM CIRCUSES AND OTHER BACKYARD ZOOS!

  • @ashtonzmommi526 BigCatRescue didn't BUY their cats, moron. I bet this is the first BigCatRescue video you've ever watched. And feeding cats is animal cruelty? Stop being so sensitive!

  • @spazzycat28 I personally think that they're just a bitter person from one of the "sanctuaries" - and I use that term very loosely - that have been reported about on the 911animalabuse website. Where their rules and regulations are more lax, ie. handling of cubs, interaction with big cats in general, inbreeding and crossbreeding, etc. And are just generally pissed off because BCR actually gives a shit. Not every organization is perfect but at least BCR is heading in the right direction.

  • @ashtonzmommi526

    Jealous much, J.E.?

  • @ashtonzmommi526 OH SHUT UP. BCR doesnt buy the cats. they rescue em and its like saying oh you shouldnt let the baby teething play with toys! and its enrichment idiot.

  • Such beautiful animals. Its so hard to believe there going to be extinct soon ,If we dont help them!

  • hey big cat can you put a cocanut in there and see what happen

  • @natesmith117 It may splinter and fuck up the cat's insides.

  • so vicious yet so cute

  • quick question, do these big cats like raw meat? i'd imagine it have e.coli or something in it, can you feed it cooked meat? or is it unhealthy?

  • @mrpotatohead34 Big cats do eat raw meat..their stomachs can handle the bacteria better than humans can. They eat raw meat in the wild.

  • @mrpotatohead34 you do know that cats are made to eat raw meat...?

  • @pemchem becauz do u see big cats using ovens/babques i think not....its time to stop watching disney and time to go in the real world

  • @pemchem well in raw meat i mean, like from the deli, cut packaged meat : x

  • @mrpotatohead34 Oh! lol I see what you mean. No, I think BCR gets its meat from the butchers' whole and then just chops it up and gives it to the kittehs? I'm pretty sure it's not packaged, like humans would use.

  • @mrpotatohead34

These cats eat raw meant in the wild. That's what their supposed to eat, really. Their system is set up for it.

  • @mrpotatohead34 Raw meat is what these cats need, it's perfectly fine for them to eat the meat raw :)

  • @BigCatRescue thats good! feed them more :D

  • All the cats have beer bellies

  • @haymaker710 DRUNKEN CATS It's actually a fat flap. Cats have em unless they're skinny or emaciated.

  • @animallvr151 I just thought they were fat

  • have you guys given these big cats silver vine? i heard it's some strong stuff. :)

  • @soheee No, we use catnip weekly to make enrichment for the cats, we haven't used silver vine yet though....

  • First

    not

  • Montgomery

  • Is max an ocelot?

  • @TenebrusI07 Nope, bobcat :)

  • Beautiful, thank you for sharing such a beautiful video :-D

  • This Was Both Just Precious & Adorable, It Made My Day! THANKS @BigCatRescue FOR THE UPLIFTING VIDEO! =D
