@slydude501st Abilities aside is what I'm trying to say. I'm talking about popularity as a whole. He didn't appear in any of the Party games until the 7th one. He didn't appear in Mario Kart until the DS installment. He didn't appear in Brawl as anything more than a trophy. On the cover of Mario Party 8, you see all the characters you can play as from the start BUT Dry Bones. May I ask why? Do they not see how popular Dry Bones has gotten over the years?

@XiaoXiaoMan1123 hm, i see what you are saying. though dry bones, from my memory, were just nuisances in the super mario bros. series, as when you jump on them, they get back up within a period of time. mario, peach, bowser, etc. have been put on the limelight far too often, so i think nintendo needs to come up with something else other than the princess getting captured again.

@slydude501st I know. Even Brawl's Subspace Emissary followed the same concept, only it's Peach OR Zelda. And then along comes... ROB? Who the hell's gonna know who he is other than a few who grew up in the 80s (Or those who had done research on him)? I personally think it would've worked out better, funny as it sounds, if Dry Bones replaced ROB in the Subspace Emissary. At least it's someone the fans are more familiar with, and it makes Dry Bones fans like ourselves happy. It's win-win.
