  • this is on Netflix.....havent watched it tho

  • What a weird ass movie.

  • hey did anyone saw this movie is it good fight sceen and a good movie?

  • I didn't see much flying or spinning bullshit.

  • @0mrme0 So why does there have to be flying i don't think humans mastered that yet .

  • i liked the manga because even though it was a bit stylized the combat was believable. the movie didn't draw me in, too much flying spinning bullshit.

  • @GregYong I especially like the very believable stuff in the third part, with Ryo being trained to stand on pieces of bamboo that are floating on the surface of water completely unsupported.

  • what the hell they need to make shown about the book

  • Awesome movie. watched it 3 times lol. and the ending was awesome. i completely agree with violhaine.

  • Truthfully the movie does not imply if he killed his parents or not. In the manga it implies that he did.

  • I haven't seen the movie in a while but he tried to protect his sister from going to jail correct by pretending he killed the parents right?

  • I would have extended the reformatory part, it was to short for me compared to the manga.

And ryo seems less powerfull in the movie, he's violent and fearless but in the manga he's also more skilled from my point of view, he loses to Sugawara just because they are in completely diferent weight clases.

  • damn son of a bitch i was a little worried at first but these bitches got this story down finally a movie true to the manga packed unlike that shyt dragonball evolution :p

  • Ending sucked ass.. Everything else was mostly good but the ending.. man

  • I didn't get the ending, until I read about it. It's pretty bad ass, but the director could've explained how bad ass the ending was a lot better.

Shamo means cockfight. In a real cock fight, the winner isn't determined by who inflicted the most damage. the winner is the one who lives to fight another day. Pretty much, even though the other guy "technically" won, he will never fight again with a crippled fist. Meanwhile, Ryo stands up to say, hey fucker, I stand to fight another day.

  • finally! someone who answers my question!!

    ARIGATOU! :3

  • Watched this movie last night. I wanted it to be good so bad, and yes, it was good for the first three quarters of the movie, but then... it got horribly bad, and the ending was the worse I had ever seen...

  • ending was awesome. well it'd be nice if he finished the battle but results were clear already

and it puts alot more emphasis on the 'die hard' theme when he stands back up

  • @kaelz I gotta admit. That scene actually had me cheering for Ryo

  • i love the manga! too bad i've heard a lot of reviews on how this movie sucks.

  • i want to see the movie!!!!

  • :O Shamo! ive read that n_n

    interesting

  • Nothing special.

  • damn good
