Congratulations to the winner! there seems to be a lot of hating going on here. I enter a lot of graphic design based contest myself and they thing you got to know about any contest is it doesnt matter what everyone else thinks about who should of won it is all about what the judges think. There's been many times I felt screwed over myself but at the end of the day you have to try to create something that will catch the judges eye for some reason or a another and that's it. nothing else matters

Don't forget some of the entries used video, some still images and some actually create an informative tutorial. It's not just about the finished image otherwise it would just be a best picture contest.

It also helps if it is clear that the entry was made purposely for the competition.

I DID think before I responded, and I REALLY believe Panacea got it wrong. I did watch Jessica's entry vid, and she didn't do anything that complex. ALL of the entries transformed themselves! Panacea didn't say she was looking for the entrants to use makeup ONLY, or to give step by step instructions on how to create their scary looks. TWSFM DID show the process of how she created her look. It's obvious Panacea's criteria for first place win was based on something other than merit. LAME.

The reason Jessica won was the fact she did look freaky, used only make up and showed the whole thing so YOU can copy. The runners were brilliant and yes some looked more gory but a couple were only pics so YOU cant really copy.
