  • Wow. Never hear this before, So great. Must say that BILLY is my favourite.. Miss him so, Such a great performer.

  • Love these video,s they all are great singers but billy fury was my favorite.

  • Omg. :) how great to see them all again. Saw their tour with Cliff and Tommy Steele 1960 in Cardiff :) Terry Dean was there also. I lost my voice from screaming. Lol

  • what a rare gem

  • fantastic post

  • This clip was not taken from "Oh Boy!", it was from "Boy Meets Girls" transmitted 20th Feb, 1960. The first guitar solo was Eddie, and shades of "Twenty Flight Rock" can be heard in his picking. The second guitar solo was Joe Brown, and you can also hear Cherry Wainer (organ) and Red Price (tenor sax).

I remember seeing the show at the time - bliss!

  • Stunning. Absolutely wonderful. And the guitar solos are ace!

  • Were Eddie and Billy friends? Omg to of my favourite singers ive become so addictive to them

  • this is fab, great.

  • This is the music that made the beatles nipples stiffin!

  • This is when there was talent!

  • Sweet Gene Vincent and rest great guys.

  • Love all four of these guys, regards from an old rocker

  • great great job

  • Saw Gene Vincent at the Palladium in 1969.Sadly,never got to see Eddie or Billy. Only Joe is still with us, seen him on stage several times,he often mentions his pals featured here.

  • Marty Wilde's still with us, PLEASE don't write him off yet!

  • And long may he be so. I was referring to the fact that only Joe is still with us out of Gene, Eddie and Billy. Seeing JB next Saturday at the Fairfield Halls.

  • True, he is still living in Malta with his lifetime partner, Marty Isenberg. They are a notorious couple in the clubs there, famous for their catfights and abusive behavior.

  • This is such a great video. Many thanks for posting. On my playlist forever!

  • wow billy fury and eddie cochran look so much alike it ain't even funny!! lol

  • This is Fantastic Thank you for the Listing.

  • First guitar solo-by Eddie Cochran

  • all good rock and roll singers and a good song with to good guitar solos

wer the guitar playin done by eddie or joe?

  • Gene Vincent - Eddie Cochran - Billy Fury - Joe Brown - Marty Wilde

  • Yeah, definitely Eddie on the first solo! Great post!!!

  • i meet joe brown a few years ago with marty wild really enjoyed it 5*

  • Great pictures. The music is excellent. The 1950's were fun years for me.

    Jim.

  • Ok, Iit's a great bunch of guys in this band. Had a bit difficult to hear Eddie first but he is there. I like Browns stingy 2nd gtr solo. But I dislike organs ( trauma since class 1-3 in school when teacher started the lesson 'playing' on that thing )

    Shake and rattle folks

  • Yeah, the organ solo sounded like it was from Lawrence Welk's TV show!

  • Had to listen to this since it's one of your 1st faves on your page. Great!

  • Well, it ain't bad.

  • I wrote it!

  • perfektní naprosto skvělé!!!

  • Fantastic!

  • This is great versio of a great song!

    Gene and Eddie forever!

  • Great post -

  • these guys they was real cool

  • great job, the first time i've heard this since i saw them on oh boy, (or was it boy meets girl by then?) great unison singing especially from gene and eddie (but then they should) - saw them at birminghamn hippodrome it was the greatest show around until the beatles came back from hambourg and dylan teamed up with the hawks... even cherry on the organ gets away with it. check out youtube/rochefortaccords what you see and hear there is inspird by this kinda freedom.

    k

  • Gene and EDDIE Cool!!!

  • GENE VINCENT.

  • It's great The absolute end.

  • SUPER MERCI BIG BIG THANK YOU..

  • Very very cool, thats what i call music.

  • I was born in Liverpool in 1943. I was there with the "Big Music Explosion". The best ever time in music, still havent grown up.....

    KEEP MUSIC LIVE

  • Hey good work Annees Vinyl. Never heard it before, never knew it existed, great track. I think Eddie must have heard a bit of Link Wray, n'est-ce pas?

  • So nice to see that Joe is still going strong. I went to his wedding and was sad to hear that Vicki, succomed to that terrible disease.

But nice to know that young Sammy is doing well with Jules Holland. I wonder where her talent came from ?

  • salute-repects!

  • Woolwich 1958, wow, Billy,Marty and Joe and Cliff were the tops.

They took after American guys like Eddie, Elvis and Vince.

Then a HURRICAINE CAME INTO TOWN.

    Sue.

  • How can I download this, it's fantastic

  • Genial como siempre.

    Graciaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas ;-)

  • no there's only Eddie (first lead guitar solo) and Joe Brown second lead part.

  • Could legendary guitarist "Big Jim Sullivan" be in there somewhere ?

BJS was "Marty Wilde"'s guitarist at the time.

BJS backed Eddie Cochran on the fateful tour and for "Saturday Club".

Look "Big Jim Sullivan" on Wikipedia.

You'll be amazed at his career.

  • WOW, ITS SOOOOOO GREAT!!!!

    thanks for share this TREASURE!!

  • Truly brilliant!! Never heard this one before. All the classic brit and american rockers on one song.Where can I get it?

  • 10 décembre 1959 BBC-TV Boys Meet Girls SHOW UK

  • Many thanks.Keep up the good work!!

  • I think this is....IT!!!!

    Thank you!

  • The Beatles were picking up on this, (sound)obviously, and then too the fab four were backin up Tony Sheridan,( who also recorded''Ya Ya'' with the hammond organ in 61 in germany), but this was prior to all that !) This is a trip thanks for sharing..

  • Great piece of rock history -

  • The BBC destroyed priceless stuff-like the first time the Beatles were on TYLS when Dick James arranged it

  • Thank you for this wonderful posting. Popular legend has it that English producer/parasite Jack Good created Gene Vincent's "black leather rebel" persona because he was appalled at Gene's courteous, polite manner.

  • how did you get this song? it's great i never heard it before and i'm a big cochran fan so it's nice to hear new stuff co's there aint much about anymore...these guys make all these so call singers and artists today look like amatures

  • Great solo by Eddie! Never heard that one before. Whatever happened to the footage he did of the "Boy Meets Girl" TV shows in England? Were they destroyed or erased?

  • there are here
