A fabulous record of the times which are so ingrained in my memory , I drank in that bar and took espresso in the cafe on aan het hoekje back in 1974 and it is just how I see it in my memory . Do you remember the drawbridge at the Melkweg with he hippie face and finger to the mouth ? But really Amsterdam was so much nicer in this time when there were only Dutch bars on the Leidseplein , The American cafe was busy with artists , writers travelers all taking koffie together , always busy then .
@pienodise Yes, it may be 1972. Martin who took the film forgot the exact year. This was shot on regular 8mm Kodachrome film which was by that time obsolete, super 8 being introduced around 1965.
