  • Hi, I was 21-ish when I was diagnosed an AVM. I was very lucky to recover after my surgery, but I've started language difficulties: anomias, paraphasias, tip of the tongue and bilingual aphasia as well since then. I still have light difficulties I notice myself only, I know how annoying can be.

    In the end I became a neuropsychologist ;-).

  • Aphasia is very interesting and at the same time very devastating, these people are very strong to start all over! Gives you strength just watching them!

    Thanks for the upload! I'm studying psychology and I wanted to find out more about aphasia and look at the human side as well!
