  • In New Zealand it's the same company and the same jingle, except it goes "Smith & Smith repair, Smith & Smith replace"

  • How the hell did I get here??

  • in Germany its called ''Carglass repariert , Carglass tauscht aus'' lol

  • glassdoctor comes fucks up ya car lmao

  • @ TheEgg185: the word "repair" in the jingle is not plural, so that's why "Safelight Repair, Safelight Replace" makes perfect sense.

  • Should be " Safelite repair but cracks are still there." Almost invisible is an overstatement.

  • this commercial rocks! always hear this in southern california, mostly on KCBS, and i thought this was a so cal based company. mind if i use this commercial in a video commercials montage i'm doing?

  • @sunburn2007: amp! Wrong answer! The "token black guy", is a hard working, real-life, safelite technician. No Al Sharpton needed.

  • Gavin on the British ad is better looking ^,^

  • the actual jungle is really "speedy glass repairs speedy glass replaces"

  • Eric is sooooo hot! He can inject me with his special resin anytime.

  • @jjinjc Puke! Eric is uglier than a mud fence.

  • @isaacsandrew77

No, Eric is hot, cute little butt and sweet as can be. Love those Iowa boys.

  • @dieter1stlov He's "hot," if you are attracted to ugly guys which apparently you are. You need to raise your standards girlfriend then maybe someday you will find somebody you can be proud of. Puke!

  • @isaacsandrew77 I'd be proud to call Eric my guy and there's nothing ugly about him. He's hot for sure. Love to be lookin into those beautiful eyes and rubbing his bald little head while he's injecting his special resin. In about 30 minutes I'd be good as new. :)

  • I saw the new commercial today where they put in the token black guy. I bet Al Sharpton called and threatened to sue Safelite because there weren't enough black people in the ads.

  • Lol this is exactly the same as the O'brien Glass ad in Australia!

  • @mitchellky /watch?v=1SEGBJW6PZI - O'brien

  • @mitchellky/watch?v=VidMaS0AfEI - Autoglass

  • @mitchellky /watch?v=aB59N3A4WNg - Carglass - German

  • @mitchellky We are all sister companies!

  • @kiely655 its the same as carglas in germany.

  • @Bittkowski Yes, we are sister companies.

  • @mitchellky In France too LOL

  • I like the other commercial with that cute chick.

  • Couple things this commercial doesn't say: The windshield could crack during the work, and it doesn't completely go away, at all. Well, that second one should go under misleading.

  • the english one, autoglass is so much better

  • i dont understand this fuckin commercial. "safelite repairs, safelite replace". shouldn't it be "safelite repairs, safelite replaces"????

  • @TheEgg185 It is "Safelite repair, Safelite replace."

  • "and the windshield's STRONG again" *THUMP*

  • the guy at 0:40 look s like "wtf i dont care"

  • We inject our SPASHEL RASIN

  • Safelite comes to Repair with the intentions of Replacing it after they make the crack worse because(they say) the windsheild was too hot. Too hot ? It was 75 degrees outside .

  • @DrHogfan It's true. Hot & cold temps can cause the windshield to expand and contract, which can cause the damage to spread easily. There's a link to external research on the safelite.com site for more detail. The chip can normally be repaired & the structural integrity restored using the repair system shown here. There are cases, though, when the damage will spread due to a number of circumstances. Unfortunately, it's hard to anticipate how broken glass will respond.

  • I love how the tech closely studies the chip for a few seconds before giving it a nod; like he's just figured out the solution to this unique and complex windshield chip problem. Ha! That cracks me up! (no pun intended)

  • I have the feeling the crack has been made digitally

  • Why does every guy pull out his wallet when they guy finishes his job they tell you over the phone before they guy even gets there will be no charge!

  • how dos that work

  • I think Eric is sexy.

  • carglass repariert, carglass tauscht aus xD german commercial of safelite xDD

  • Just like, auto glass repair auto glass replace from uk

  • autoglass repair autoglass replace... almost the same as the british 1 :P

  • its the american carglass :D

  • Heres the UK Version watch?v=P3pKGPvX5vg

  • the Safelite guy made my windshield worse so i had to get a new one !

  • look at the damn speed he's going over that bump!

  • There's a dutch commerical for the same thing, different company called CarGlass. Carglass repareert, carglass vervangt! translation means the same thing.

  • Hi, Im Gavin from AutoGlass.

I was a virgin untill the age of 25, now i've filled more cracks than Russel Brand

  • I thought I was going nuts when I saw the Autoglass commercial in the UK.

  • they are all the same in every country xD i getting sick of them, when you go on vacation, the moment u turn on the tv, you see this (mostly in a language you dont understand) and it ruins my whole vacation!!

  • What an awful advert. Why is this on youtube.

It's not bad enough to be funny.

  • why this company has an english name in germany and a german name in england?

  • @Welzi1234567890 safelite is english word and auto is in both countries a word

  • One of the worst jingles around

  • This has 22, 891 views..why?

  • Whos this imposter and whats he done with Gavin?

  • auto glass is better!!! it has a scouser in it!!

  • I dunno why, but the safelite song kinda sounds like MJ is singing! :] XD

  • in germany the company is called carglass, in the UK and Ireland it is called Autoglass, but in all countries the spot is the same

  • Lol

    Autoglass in the UK

    Carglass in Germany

    Safelite in the US

This company will soon rule the world with its stupid commercial XD

  • I like the British autoglass commericial better

  • This makes me want to drive with 100 Mph on a speed bump...

  • British Gavin is better.

  • All i can say is i agree with all the negative comments posted about safelite! all you people listen and believe! I've been there........

  • "Safelite repairs, Safeltfe replace"

I have a windshield crack but will not use your service until you explain the sudden shift of verb tense in your slogan. Is poor grammar catchy?

  • @ThePoopChef The actual jingle is "Safelite repair, Safelite replace"

  • @ThePoopChef The actual jingle is "Safelite repair, Safelite replace".

  • He is So HOT! Now that's a man, baby.

  • Special resin. YES!

  • yeah baby!! wink.

  • This commercial is full of graphic embeds. Check the frames around 5:00 and note the shape of the car door handle. This arrow shape has been drawn -- not photographed.

Near 17:00 a window crack effect is generated. Within the "crack" several images have been embedded, including a grey skull near the large X.

There are embeds at 31:00 (prior to the notation, "images are a simulation"), a ghost-like moving embed in the upper-left screen at 35:00, and embeds in Erick's black pants at 40:00.

  • I've had this done to a windshield on my fishing car. It works. Stopped the crack right away. It does leave a little distortion in the glass, but I barely notice it.

  • oh im gonna prove how strong the glass is by lightly flicking it...yea im sold, and from the looks of it most of these comments are from people wanting Erik to inject HIS special resum in their crack.

  • Even worse, I just noticed that if you pause it around the flick, it says "images are a simulation." So he's not even really flicking the spot that he repaired.

  • I find this commercial weirdly captivating, and I don't know why. It's very simple and straightforward-- and while it's not imaginative or cutting-edge advertising, it's neatly assembled, with a crisp script and a very tidy, carefully arranged sequence of shots. It's well done for what it is.

  • Damn, Erik is cute.

  • Nevelstraum - I know why you think about sex when you see this commercial...cause Erik is HOT!!

    Really hot!

  • this commercial is sooooooooo annoying ive seen it like 50 times now.

  • OK, you have to admit Eric is a handsome man, but this company knew just what they were doing with that whole "let Eric inject his special resin in your crack" business. Could they have been any more overt? I bet people walk up to him all the time in Des Moines wanting their cracks filled.

  • Erik, i had a dream last night and you were in it.

  • Comment removed

  • ...I don't know why, but I find myself thinking about sex each time that I see this commercial.

  • That's interesting, so do I!

  • And we will USUALLY repair it

  • You can see the cameras on the dashboard. Didn't anyone notice that?

  • It doesn't crack when you go over a bump. I can't believe people believe this crap.

  • lies the crack does not go away.....all they do is hold the glass together.....that almost invisible is bull s*&%

  • reminds me of "Carglass repariert, carglass tauscht aus!"

  • Safelite officially has the shittiest jingle in commercial history.

  • this is the same as the obrien add in australia

  • Yes, they are sister companies.

  • @TheFrams and the Autoglass ad from UK, except ours was Gavin who injected his special resin into your crack....apparently

  • @TheFrams

and its the same as carglass in germany... :D

  • Why can't or won't y'all do a 8" crk? Is it because you can't or won't or just don't have the right tooools for the jooob! WHY?

  • if you think thats funny you should check out irish luke...he hits a nasty pothole...there's plenty potholes in ireland to keep AUTOGLASS in business!!!!!

  • I need Erik to inject his special resin!!

  • It's great. It's the same commercial in Germany, also known as "Carglass" :)

  • The most subversively filthy commercial ever.

Call us, a guy will come to your house and "insert his special resin" and there'll be no sign of it after 30 minutes. It'll be "stong as ever."

Sounds like an escort service to me.

  • SPECIAL RESIN

  • Lol "Safelite repair, Safelite replace". That sht is so catchy

  • i know right

  • That SMile is the most funniest thing ive seen in a commercial xD

  • Did it really stop airing on the 19th? I'm not seeing it anymore! Going through Erik withdrawl.....

  • "A chip is actually a thousond micro-cracks. If you hit this motherfucker of a bump, there is a possibility that it will get a little bigger."

  • Lol! at 0:40 to 0:43

  • EH? this is like a ripoff to the autoglass britain ad...

  • Sister companies.

  • really?

  • Yep! We have companies around the globe.

  • @kaiokken AutoGlass all the way!

    AutoGlass Repair, AutoGlass replace (L)

    GAVIN!

  • This Erik guy reminds me of Edward Norton's character Sheldon Mopes from Death to Smoochy.

  • Thank You for Posting these Videos on here - it is very much appreciated. Don't pay attention to the Negative people on here.

  • I see this asshole at least 100 times a day on TV while im working. Hey Erick how about hitting a wall no seatbelt and put your resin on your fucking head?

  • erik, why don't you put some of that special resin up your fucking ass and then try to expand your crack while a camera videotapes it in slow motion

  • The model (customer) is hot!

  • Im so sick of seeing this commercial......

  • @0reoK0okeez lol why did you look this comercial up lol :)

  • @0reoK0okeez im so sick of commercials PERIOD

  • slow down over the speed bumb next time

  • That jingle is getting on my last nerve.

  • it looks like cyrus the virus from CON AIR!!!!!!!

  • nelly furtado can eat my shorts dude, i have a prettier behind than jesus himself

  • Sound like everyone here want Erik to come inject his "Special Resin" in their crack..

  • whats with everyone saying erik is hot? rofl.

this is awesome. i wonder if there is something like this in australia. i have like 3 of these in my windscreen. smaller ones

  • I can't seem to get this Erik out of my head...and I like it! Man, he's one sexy fella.

  • Am I missing something? This guy's as homely as they come. His bald pate is so sexy LOL. Erik is prove that even ugly guys can be considered "desirable."

  • I was passed out in my living room the other night and had left the tv on and I heard this HORRIBLE jingle repeatedly in my dreams, so now it is permanently burned into my brain.

  • I wonder what's in the "special resin"?

  • Erik is soooo cute. Yay!

  • Whew! That Erik = one HOT ass Hunk!!

  • this company has the most annoying jingle I have ever heard. The "safelite repair" part is ok but the "safelite replace" part just ruins it for me.

  • Terrible company.

  • I'm moving to Des Moines and crashing into the biggest pothole in town so Erik can come and inject his special resin.

  • Seaking of which- I see where Erik is happily married, yet my ultimate fantasy here is to see these two guys a-bangin one another in the back of the company vehicle! Can't you feel the 'love'?

  • smart

  • this guy is so hot, even hotter than the guy who did my windshield and they did great work.

  • is THat a new method they are using? Safelite did our car a few years ago and sent out some kid who looked 16 and did a terrible job. Windshield looked like shit when he was done.

  • Check out the customer's face around 0:41. He looks so sincere and genuine.

  • yeah but the best part is aroun 0:26 where he's so deeply concerned and anxious about that chip

  • cool shitt .

  • i've had a chip in my one car windshield for a few years now and i've hit bumps and it hasn't cracked yet
