  • Beanik: You're right, it is slow.

  • as a rank amateur, I thought it was fun to hear it a little slower! I have the orig on CD but like this too. Would anyone in the world know about a re-creation of this Xavier Cugat recording that was done on a Longine's Symphony Orchestra big band tribute phono record, made in the early 60's I believe?!?!? It was my first into to this song, and I loved it and still do, wondering for years who recorded it. Pretty sure it's a ripoff of this one, but I still enjoy it as my first hearing of this

  • I think your recording is running a little slow. A demi semi tone or thereabouts below correct pitch and about 10 seconds longer than the original. Great track nevertheless! Not being critical of you, just a musicians opionion. Thanks for posting! Perhaps the spindle on your TC129 is worn or needs cleaning? Or here's a long shot - are you playing a 60 Hz machine on 50 Hz mains?

  • @Beanick You r right, after comparing with the same music on LP player it is slower. TC 129 can work on 50 or 60 hz system since it use a dc motor with speed adjustment. ..Thanks for your comment
