  • why does snsd hav only 4 ppl not all members?

  • SNSD showed their dancing skills..I think they had the right thing in mind when they competed in this competition. It IS a DANCING competition after all. They danced better, but After School's got the crowd hyped so they won. The crowd was judging them, so they did the right thing to win, but the better dancer her SNSD.

  • hyoyeon. man.

  • I love LOVE LOVE SNSD. They are the soul reason that I started to listen to Korean music in the first place. But, as a true fan of ALL Korean music and to be fair, I have to say that After School ROCKED Star Dance Battle. They were fresh, hip, sassy, and they were just a lot more better than SNSD this time around. :) I still got mad love for my SNSD though. But the better group one this round. :) :D No harm. <3

  • Pshh.. Bull, those hater's comments.. I didnt really like SNSD at first, but hell man, theyre making me love them more after seeing this, SNSD vs AfterSchool, Who the eff cares, both are good, and this is an Snsd vid NO AFTERSCHOOL. So just at least comment good stuffs goddam.

  • WHO THE FUCK CARE WHO DID BETTER THAN WHO? this is an

"snsd" vid .___. COMMENT ON THE FKING DANCE BATTLE FOR GOD'S SAKE

    sooyoung <333

  • anyone know where i can get a mp3 of this mix without all the screaming??

  • YOONA!

  • What is the song for the first part?

  • @tiffany12185 i dont think its a song i just its a random beat they put together maybe

  • Comment removed

  • The robbot dance was boring as hell. The What It is part was a little better but... After School's dance owned this round.

  • @RainsW0rth Heh.. The "Robbot" dance was boring as hell?? Bull~ <3 I think it was goddam awesome, unlike those other dancers that dance the "robbot".. The way SNSD danced it seemed so effing natural. Like their bodies just moves on its own along its beat. I cant point out the negative parts of AfterSchool, Im not effing stupid enough to do that cause Im going to hurt the AS feelings fans, Im an AfterSchool fan, and yet, I like this more. So plis dont be a hater and post negative comments on vids

  • @xSweetestSin but it's my opinion, :I I didn't say they sucked, I didn't like the dance. It's getting harder to show opinions on a SNSD's vid, sones are reaaaaaaaaally angry. And I'm not even a Playgirl, i'm neutral :I

  • Oh, and just because I didn't like ONE dance from them, it doens't mean I'm a hater. I like SNSD tbh

  • @RainsW0rth Technically you dont have the right to point out the negatives and tell US that, Tell SNSD that. iight? :3

  • @xSweetestSin I'm afraid I can't honey :I of course I have the right to tell my opinion, wtf

  • @RainsW0rth :3 Fuehuehuehueue, Plis dont switch negatives and opinion, kay?

  • @xSweetestSin tsctsc some sones are having bitch for breakfast.

  • @RainsW0rth <3 Fuehue, Rain, everyone is having bitch for breakfast. ^^ iight?

  • @xSweetestSin you have no idea honey.

  • this is perfection.whoever says that after school is better,he has no eyes...

  • I thinks SNSD lost because...this pop-lock-things here already shown at their concert! And I enjoy After School performance better~It tooks me a while to watch this and not thinking BORING~

  • 現在是~少女時代!!!!!!!!!

    Forever SOSI~~~~~~~~~

    太帥了!!!!!!!!!完全女神啊=///=d

  • For you guys who are wondering, SNSD lost because shows like this are for the entertainment/TV factor. SNSD never wins these because they never have fun with it, which is the reason why Suju always does so well. AS won because of the cute little cheeky intro with Lip Gloss but SNSD definitely had the better routine.

  • SONES, admit After School are better dancers. PLaygirlz, admit that SNSD are better singers. and then lets all be friends, can we? No need to bash each group.

  • FYI look at the other member of SNSD...they're just cheering...wanna know why? they know and admit that they can't dance...in SNSD...only few can dance... im not a SNSD hater actually i like yuri...but im just always impress in AFTER SCHOOL...the leader kahi can dance & sing...she choreographs all their dance steps...they even good in playing drums... SNSD are just good in making cute face...am i right?they always act cute... even in their concerts... AFTER SCHOOL RULES!

  • @rainie44 "SNSD are just good in making cute face...am i right?they always act cute... even in their concerts..."

Um, no, you are not right. I don't see them acting cute in this dance battle...and have you seen the Run Devil Run video? It turns out that they can be edgy and fierce too...surprise surprise!

  • i think it was right that after school won. don't let your bias get in the way, people!

i asked two of my non-kpop friends who they thought was better and they said afterschool.

still, im always a sone at heart <3

  • you know.. don't argue here. Both has a great dance and great dancers. But I did not doubt that Afterschool won this thing because you can see how they dance it together so cool. But SNSD is also great in dancing, but they only choose those great dancers, unlike Afterschool members can all dance the steps. The battle is really hard to judge. They are both good.

  • After School's Performance was amazing, and so was SNSD's. They both have their different styles which capture different people's attentions. After School had powerful dancing and great showmanship. But SNSD had unique style and skill. If you say just anyone can tut like that, well then, I don't know what to say to you.

  • yuri should have dance o_O

  • I think majority of the people who say AS did better aren't dancers. The only good things about AS's choreo was it was entertaining and had all the members. SNSD still took it for me. This performance seriously gives me chills in a good way. Their energy, technicality, and unity were all perfect. And messy? I did NOT see how this is messy. Yes, I am a dancer too, a hip-hop one at that, and seeing them hit ALL the beats which AS failed to do for theirs... SNSD, you rock.

  • @emiray "I think majority of the people who say AS did better aren't dancers. The only good things about AS's choreo was it was entertaining and had all the members. SNSD still took it for me. This performance seriously gives me chills in a good way. Their energy, technicality, and unity were all perfect. And messy? I did NOT see how this is messy."

    I agree 100%! :)

  • what´s the name of the "song " fom 0:00 to 1:19 ?

  • our SOSHI are not all of them are dancers, the true dancers there are Heoyeon the leader dancer, yuri and main dancer and sooyoung. hope SNSD viewers will understand. they are all good more than better

  • I'm a fan of both and they did an amazing job~! The only difference is that SNSD tried to be more technical in doing better dance moves while After School focused on having fun and having that charisma explode from them. Needless to say, it's easy to see that SNSD kinda made the mood sober while AS made the mood hyper.

  • THERS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THEIR STEPS.....YEAH THEIR BODY IS SO SLIM...BUT IT THE STEPS DOESN'T LOOK GOOD FOR THEM.....

  • WHUT.

    After School pwned them.

  • sorry snsd, but AS did better!

  • What is the first song? >-<

  • go After School!

  • wow they are legit!! haha loved the what it is choreography!

  • so0y0ng dance the best everr !!!!!!

    se0hyun so0 sexyyy

  • so0y0ng dance the best everr !!!!!!

  • i've seen the AS first n then SNSD part..if i were to judge..i'd definitely chosen snsd's than AS..AS gave good performance but it looked kinda messy..and it looked like kahi was the only one with the energy n stamina..others were like her background dancer and kinda all over the place with lack of energy n stamina. but..snsd gave a 110% performance with unity, energy, variation and complication as well..sorry to say, but this is just my opinion...<3 snsd & AS

  • it's not perfect without yuri

  • ain't the same without yuri.

  • no yuri no party

  • HYOYEON <3

  • snsd dance has more difficulty and they did it perfectly, they're are awesome dancers, but it wasn't as entertainig as after school's dance, i loved after school choreography, it was really fun, maybe it was the music, snsd's was too calmand borig, after school"s was lil's mama and chris brown! it couldn't fail

  • Yoona is amazing and Hyoyeon is good at the robot

  • Yoona is amazing

  • woori @ 00 : 25?

  • i think the only reason thought after school did better than snsd was because kahi did a great job on the choreo & the camera only focused on her. as for level of difficulty on both choreographies.. snsd's was definitely harder because of all the intricate movements. people thought it sucked because snsd picked a chill sounding song, while AS picked an upbeat song. but if you watch their choreos again, snsd's choreo hits all the beats in "what it is". that's just my pov as a dancer lol

  • I Do not Like 1.51 I Love It

  • not even a single mistake :) SNSD all the way :D

  • i still can't believe that snsd lost that battle! Sure they didn't incorporate the whole group, but their dance was more powerful and better than After School's! Totally sad. :'(

  • @AnimeFanatic06 more powerful and better than AS,oh puh-lease,i was really disapponted.Snsd did extremely well last year but somewhat boring and chaotic this year in SDB

  • @hb0x AS looked....amateurish. We're all entitled to our opinions, but as far as I've seen snsd did better

  • @AnimeFanatic06 i know...

  • @AnimeFanatic06 I don't think their dance is that powerful though, in my opinion AS did better. But, the only one who grabbed my attention here is Yoona (i think that's her name? :o) the others were like..a bit awkard to watch xD but that's just me :)

  • @AnimeFanatic06 None, After School Dance have more power it doesnt matter if they dont have all their member !

  • @AnimeFanatic06 I think they lost because they were so stiff. Hip hop tends to give of the impression of being looser even though the movements are tight plus they are vertical most of the time. I think they would of won if they hand altered the three dancers so they weren't doing the exact same thing.

  • @cdrooks11820 imma have to disagree with you on that. i saw no stiffness what so ever. their moves were, professional, sharp, precise, and on point. some people like you get that mixed up with stiff. if their movements were any looser the whole dance routine would become sloppy. the choreography was genius and they all danced very well. now with AS they were all over the place and sloppy in my opinion. ppl say they were entertaining but i thought they were boring, especially the lil mama part.

  • @idkmebutidkyou What do you me by "some people like you"? I saw stiffness in some parts, and no I'm not talking about the robot part. Taeyang, for example because he is a great dancer of this genre, has professional, sharp, precise, and on point dancing but he doesn't look stiff. I was just saying that during the Sophia Fresh song, they could of relaxed more and had more fun with it. Their choreography was better, but I don't think they lost because of it, it was the mood they presented.

  • @cdrooks11820 are you a dancer yourself? im just wondering. and like i said before if they were any looser the whole routine would become sloppy. i dont understand where your seeing stiffness. ive watched this like 3 times to see what your trying to get at but i see no stiffness whats so ever. the choreography of this dance doesnt really require that much looseness. its suppose to be sharp and on point. when AS danced they were looser because thats the kind of the that the choreography requires.

  • @idkmebutidkyou I'm not a dancer but my mom and older sister are and I grew up with watching them dance and watch a tone of dance movies. I also use to watch a lot a dance battles during high school. SNSD's dance vibe didn't match the song, the song is about a powerful sassy girl having fun in the club, they looked like they were there to preform the perfect routine. Which made it look stiff. I would of loved if they had showed some more sass and swagger. Like I said, I think they lost of vibe.

  • @cdrooks11820 Exactly. you arent going to learn anything by just watching ppl dance and watching dance battles. theres definitely more to it. AND your totally off and wrong. this song is most definitely not about having fun in the club. in the song sohpia is singing how shes in the club and theres this sexy hot guy that she sees and shes sayin she aint about to act fake and walk up to him actin like shes innocent and cute.

  • @idkmebutidkyou First, I know that there is a difference from watching people dance and dancing myself but it will never change the fact that I have two left feet like my dad. I never be a dancer's dancer like my sister or mother, so I don't consider myself a dancer period. But I can still compare what I have seen and make a fair comparison because the final product is meant to viewed. Secondly, where I'm from, girls flirting with hot guys is the definition of having fun in a club.

  • @idkmebutidkyou Actually, most of my girlfriends only go to the club to flirt with guys. If we just feel like dancing, we stay home and blast the music in the living room, it's much cheaper.

  • @cdrooks11820 lol sorry i keep giving you these long paragraphs to read but this is the last i promise. AS had a huge advantage. most of them are good dancers and they got really good songs. it would have been a little more fair for them both to have high energetic songs........but then again some snsd members are capable of doing all that so i guess it was kinda fair. i had fun watching both and i love both groups. my favorite from AS is gahee and my favorite from snsd is hyoyeon and seohyun

  • @idkmebutidkyou Not to be rude, but SNSD is missing five members while AS had to handle having the whole group on that tiny stage. The four SNSD members dance fine. When I said that it could of been more, I wasn't talking about being all energetic like AS. I meant dipping lower and alternate so they weren't all vertical or off play so two are doing one thing and the other two are doing another. The Sophia Fresh song is not slow and soothing, you want slow and soothing listen...

  • @cdrooks11820 exactly. there missing members because like i said before........they arent really dancers. the sophia IS slow and SMOOTHE. its defintely not fast. its danceable but not danceable liek what AS did. Sure snsds dance coulve been more creative but like i said, looking at each persons level of dancing i think they all did very good. swag comes in all differnt shapes and forms so when you look for swag you cant be lookin for one thing or expect to look like how you think it should.

  • @idkmebutidkyou SNSD were missing the member that couldn't dance which gives them the advantage not hinder them. If you want fair then it should be the four best dancers from each groups. Sophia Fresh isn't slow, listen to some Usher or Ne-yo for slow and smooth. Sophiia Fresh is one of the deceptive songs that sounds slower than it actually is, watch the music video, they are pretty energetic. It's not as fast as AS's songs but it's not slow either, it is in that weird area in between.

  • @cdrooks11820 you misunderstood what i meant by slow again but i dont feel like explaining to you again. yes they they did over flow with confidence i say it on their faces....lol anybody clearly can so i highly disagree with you on that. they looked preeeeeeeeeeetty confident to me. and the only thing they lacked was a creative routine like AS's was. other than that they killed the routine but whatver thats ur weird opinion. and im not determined to say they were perfect?

  • @idkmebutidkyou I don't look for one thing with swag, I look for a feel of overflowing confidence in how someone is doing something, they didn't have it. Their dancing was tight but didn't have the feel like they were confident in this genre. They were good but they lacked something to make this routine hip hop and they didn't have swag. But lets agree to disagree here because you are determine to think that they were perfect when I think they were capable of more.

  • @cdrooks11820 Like i said based on each of their level of dancing they did really good. if i was determined to say they were perfect i wouldnt have said that they needed a more creative routine than just standing there in a line and them all doing the same moves. the choreography was capable of more not them. with more practice and more work im sure they could become even better as well. idk why you think thats what swag is but hey thats your opinion. swag is something everybody has

  • @idkmebutidkyou ...listen to Usher or Ne-yo, this song is deceptively faster then it sounds but it plays on sudden stops and then speeds up so it seems slow. I personally think this song was more danceable then the other one because the other one I was expecting more floor work, AS dance was a little disappointing for the songs. As for swag, lets just agree that we see swag differently. To me they were good technical dancers but they didn't have swag for me but if you see it, that cool too...

  • @cdrooks11820 oh and everybody has their own swag and their own style. they were doing their thing and did a really good job. thats why i said they had nothin but swag. like i said.......swag comes in all different shapes and forms. somebody elses swag is not going to look how you think it should look. the person is going to do their own thing and be themselves........which is exactly what both AS and snsd did.

  • @idkmebutidkyou I disagree with you, I think very few people personify swag and most of the time people only have it for a moment. Swag is that special something. They didn't have it and I think it had to do with the fact they were out of their element. They own the girl k-pop scene for sure but this wasn't their best. As for AS, I think they had confidence but I think only one of the really had swag in that performance. I think swag shows up the most when people are in the element.

  • @cdrooks11820 both groups had swag in their perfomance believe it or not. lol idk why you keep saying they didnt have swag when clearly looking at this they did. they had a disadvantange because snsd arent really dancers. the only REALLY GOOD dancer they have in my opinoin is Hyoyeon. the rest are just adverage or arent very good at all. as a whole AS are better dancers than snsd. if they had more dancers like hyoyeon they wouldnt have been at a disadvantage.

  • @idkmebutidkyou But I would like to repeat again, I think SNSD lost against AS not because of choreography or dance skills but on mood and the hip hop feel. Personally, I thought SNSD had the better choreography and dancing but I didn't get the Hip Hop feel from them, we are probably going to disagree on this. But agree with me on the first part that AS won on mood not technical skills or choreography. Give me that much credit.

  • @cdrooks11820 i think snsd lost because it wasnt as entertaining as AS's dance routine. even though i have to admit that the lil mama dance they did was very boring, it was some what creative instead of just going out there and dancing in a line and everybody doing the same moves. and i think they both did good with getting into the mood of the songs. i just think AS won on entertainment and a creative dance routine.

  • @cdrooks11820 oh and btw. when it comes to like doing concerts and having dances, most of the time only some of the snsd members go out and dance because they arent really dancers. i love snsd and all but most of them are better at making cute faces than dancing. they usually have hyoyeon(ofcourse), yuri, yoona, and sooyoung out there when it comes to dancing.

  • @cdrooks11820 and when i said that what it is is a slow song i dont mean the beat or how fast shes talking i mean the tone of her voice. the tone of her voice stays the same throughout the whole song. and i didnt say it was soothing i said it was smoothe. and it is smoothe. ive studied dance and have been teaching a dance class for a long time now so i think i know what im talking about

  • @cdrooks11820 shes saying shes not like the other girls hes been with. thats why in the song she asks "have you even been down wit a female from the hood". shes saying something like " im about to do me and only me so imma just go up to him and be like what it is?" (i guess) so anyways, the dance moves with this song was perfect. i couldnt have come up with any better myself. the choreography went perfect with the song so idk what your talking about.

  • @idkmebutidkyou They danced perfectly but I think there could of been more to it. I have seen other clips of them dancing, this piece, while good, isn't their best. That was all that I was saying. But the mood still reminds me of a talent competition instead of having that hip hop feel to it. They didn't have swag though, they were good and controlled but swag has a looser feel to it. That is a personal opinion of what I see. Lets agree that we see different things in this routine.

  • @cdrooks11820 maybe you just dont know what swag is. like i said a long time ago, if they were any looser they would be sloppy. and yes i do agree that we see totally different things. snsd had a disadvantage from the start. AS had a good advantage and what i mean by saying that is the songs that AS were givin to dance to is high energetic songs that you get up and automatically dance to it. thats why they were able to do suh a creative routine. the song what it is is low and smoothe

  • @cdrooks11820 sing what it is, is a slow and smoothe song and not a powerful energetic song , snsd's performance wouldnt fit the song if they did a totally powered out, loose, out of control dance routine. they need a slow and smoothe dance routine to go with the slow and smoothe song. i could think of a whole bunch of routines to do with the song "wall to wall" and "lip gloss" because they are the kind of songs you just want to start pumpin your fist to or whatever.

  • @cdrooks11820once again you cant expect so much out of a person if they have limited skills. snsd really arent dancers the only excellent dancer in my opinion is hyoyeon and sooyoung. you notice how when what it is started seohyun did the first part but then stood back there for most of the song. she did this because she does not have those abilities yet. so they can only do a dance routine that everybody is capable of doing and thats the major disadvantage considering most of them arent dancers

  • @idkmebutidkyou Could you explain one thing to me first? You say,"when it comes to like doing concerts and having dances, most of the time only some of the snsd members go out and dance because they arent really dancers...they usually have hyoyeon(ofcourse), yuri, yoona, and sooyoung out there when it comes to dancing," so SNSD has their dancers from their group dancing, why are they at a disadvantage? You keep bringing that up but I don't see the disadvantage.

  • @idkmebutidkyou Also, since you asked me if I was a dancer and I clarified that I dance like my dad. May I ask what kind of dancing you teach?

  • @cdrooks11820 i teach urban pop, hip hop, pop, ballet, jazz and i teach people how to break dance/bboy as well. you say it seems im determined to say they were perfect (and they werent) but it seems you are determined to point out how much they failed (which they didnt). both of them looked like they were having fun and enjoying themselves. both did a really good job. lol if i was determined to say they were perfect i wouldve said that snsd should have won.

  • @idkmebutidkyou I'm not pointing out how much they failed only that I think they were capable of more and was making suggestions. If you teach hip hop, how can you look at SNSD's routine and call it hip hop? I even had my mom look at this clip, because she is the dancer in the family, and she said it wasn't quite hip hop. As a hip hop dance teacher, you couldn't have come up with a better routine for this song?

  • @cdrooks11820 if it were up to me to choose i wouldve chosen AS as well. they were more fun to watch. but both of them did an amazing job

  • @cdrooks11820 they didnt look like they were there to perform the perfect routine. they got into the mood of the song which is like extra points for them. once again there is no stiffness but you can keep saying that if you want to and imma just keep dissagreeing with you.you cant say things like "i would have loved if they had showed some more sass and swagger" without knowing the persons level of dancing. to me they had nothing but swag (especially hyoyeon). their facial expressions were hot 2

  • @cdrooks11820 when i said some people like you i meant that people get sharpness mixed up with stiffness.and thats what i think you did since they were not stiff at all.snsd did their peformance was like perfect.in AS performance, even though there styled of dancing requires the looseness,in some parts are thought some of them couldve been more sharper.some of them didnt have as much energy as they could have. but altogether both did good.it was nice seeing everybody having fun enjoying themself

  • @idkmebutidkyou I agree with you that parts of AS could of been sharper in some spots but I still think they gave off a better hip hop vibe.

  • @cdrooks11820 lol sorry for the multiple typos. my keyboard sucks :/

  • @idkmebutidkyou I agree with you about AS but the end dancing to Chris Brown had a better hip hop vibe to it. Just so you know, I'm not trying to hate on SNSD, I like them better as a band than AS; but there are things they could of done to win this. When I mentioned them being vertical most of the time, I was comparing them to the hip hop dancing I've seen in Step Up 2 and 3. Personally, I liked SNSD's choreography better but I kept on wishing that they would just push it.

  • @cdrooks11820 i dont think your hating your just simply puting your opinion like everybody else. i do agree that snsd could have done alittle bit more. and the reason why i found AS's performance so boring is because its like okay ive seen it before, nothin new, nothin special. the only thing that i will admit was cool was when gahee did that jump thing towards the end of their performance.
