They took it in a much better direction, opening up for a plague, without adding in that disgusting subject of religion and demons.

Thank you for pointing out that "Rec" is pronounced "Record" and not "Wreck"! I'm glad someone else brought it up. "Rec" is an abbreviation of the English word "Record" and it's like that in the title to reflect how it appears in a video camera. People say "Rec" like if it's a new word without really thinking about it much like how people call the Japanese film "Ring", "Ringu" as if it's a different word without realizing that "Ringu" is simply how the Japanese pronounce the English word "Ring".

I havent seen all of quarantine (I only saw a few parts). I wouldnt say I hated the parts I saw, But I think its almost a disgrace for a larger money grabing studio to create a carbon -copy of a very good movie (REC or record) within a year of the first movie coming out.To me remakes are fine as long as the movie your remaking has gotten its fair share of popularity and credit.

No offense but you have horrible supporting evidence to your reasons why the movie is bad and insulting people who dont like or do like something makes you worse. Bad review, HORRIBLE review. Dont tell people to kill themselves, that achieves nothing, i agree that quarantine was bad, but you did a horrible job reviewing both movies.

Except Rec 2 took the story in a direction that completely contradicts the changes Quarantine made to the first Rec. Quarantine 2 is a sequel of Quarantine, but since Balagueró and Plazza we so smart about it, they can't make a direct ripoff of Rec 2 so it's going to be set on a plane. XD

I just hate it when people smile for no fucking reason all the time as the stewardess does the whole first part of the movie. Thank you for pointing out that "Rec" is pronounced "Record" and not "Wreck"! I'm glad someone else brought it up. "Rec" is an abbreviation of the English word "Record" and it's like that in the title to reflect how it appears in a video camera. People say "Rec" like if it's a new word without really thinking about it much like how people call the Japanese film "Ring", "Ringu" as if it's a different word without realizing that "Ringu" is simply how the Japanese pronounce the English word "Ring".

REC looks fake. Quarantine is MILES better. Having to read subtitles while following a handheld? No thanks.
The camera in REC spazzes out, yet a TRAINED PROFESSIONAL is meant to be holding it. Quarantine focuses more on the "outside threat", it's longer, less "Evil Dead" esque, and loses the stupid "demonic possession angle". We don't need another Exorcist.
Why are you so passionate in defending REC? Are you related to a crew member? The makers of REC got paid well, focus on your own life

I havent seen all of quarantine (I only saw a few parts). I wouldnt say I hated the parts I saw, But I think its almost a disgrace for a larger money grabing studio to create a carbon -copy of a very good movie (REC or record) within a year of the first movie coming out.To me remakes are fine as long as the movie your remaking has gotten its fair share of popularity and credit.

Can give you example-I watched Alice in Wonderland by Barton and I was dissapointed and didnt like it, barely watched to the ending...But its my opinion=)
Also I like children of the corn and most people thinks it was a bad movie.
