i fixed th eproblem it wasnt charche anough and the batterys in my controller where to weak but now the tail prop broke so i have to order a new one :/

i've super glued tail props together before, sometimes it takes a little sanding but it can work.

my heli does the same but there are no lose whires and when i want to recarche it it doesnt work (full battery power so thats not it)

@7249xxl the battery may be damaged from over discharging or bad charging, some of these helicopters have a low voltage cut off, so if the battery isn't able to hold a charge and falls below 3 volts it shuts off the heli, that may not be your problem but it's the only other suggestion i can think of off the top of my head.

@ununknown I haven't seen this one for sale in a long time, it is a much older heli, check out the new 3 channel syma helicopters on x heli, i think you would be much happier with one of them, they have a Chinook that is amazing, and cheaper then this one was.

Coof fix! Can you put in a better battery maybe 400 mah? Or will that fry the motor due to longer flying time? Have you ever had a motor burning out on you? Will it hurt your battery if you completely drain it or should you only use 50 percent of power and then charge it again?

@boowonder888 I've never burned out a motor other then a tail motor on a 6 channel cp helicopter, you can usually put in a better battery. Battery technology gets better every day and a lot of times you can increase performance, a lot of the larger 4 and 6 channel rc helicopters can use a wide variety of batteries. But you do want to be careful with smaller helicopters sometimes they aren't designed for it.

Never drain your lithium battery all the way down, it will damage it.

@boowonder888 Also for long term storage of a month or more I have heard it said to drain it to 50% but during normal usage you can drain it until you notice a drop in performance, as soon as you notice the battery is dying, you should stop flying.

also sometimes the batteries will get a dirty charge and it helps to discharge and recharge the battery a few times to get it back to normal.

Always check your fly and your nails before you go on stage. Or you'll have to explain to hundreds of people that you wear mowing the lawn that day, working a 10 hour shift and filming a video to help people, and didn't clean your nails before filming.

Check the little paddle on top of the rotor, make sure the pin that holds it on is in all the way.

Also try twisting your tail rotor for slower flight, sometimes if the tail rotor is twisted, or if the CG is off center it will move forward to fast, and go in circles .

Did you check your tail and make sure nothing is stuck in it, and make sure the tail blade doesn't rub against the motor.

It could be a broken tail motor, spin the tail blade in your hand slowly and see if it feels like it sticks.

With these little toys it's hard to figure out a way to fix them that is less expensive then buying a new one.

You may need to replace it with a new helicopter. it sounds like a major problem and it would be more expensive to repair then it would be to buy a new helicopter.

You may have a broken wire inside the canopy.

Remove the canopy, look at all the wires.

One may be broken, you can solder the wire back on very easily.

i did not get an extra roator when i got mine, i dont think thats the same type of brand but the shape, size and functions are the same. Anywayz, if u hav the skylark, u can stop a spin by truning the directional pad on a clockwise or counterclockwise motion

your battery may have died, generally if you are going to store the helicopter for a few months you should bring it down to half charged.

The one in this video had the same problem, I didn't fly it for a few months, and I had left the battery fully charged, it wouldn't fly or charge.

I just bought a new heli, I would strongly suggest the new syma s008, it hovers like a dream, it flies forward and in reverse and spins, and it has a very realistic canopy.

check that your main gear and motor gear are properly meshed together, sometimes the motor will get pushed a little bit to far away. slowly spin the rotor and see if you notice any resistance.

for soldering i suggest that you use a smaller gauge solder because it is easier to use with the small components on those tiny boards. also it is a good idea to get a solder sucker they help a lot with cleaning up the connections.

I find that solder sucker is real good for large sucking jobs . For real small stuff, I use a solder wick. This is a fine, braided copped wire that you press against the joint with your iron. Sucks all that solder on the board pretty effectively.

Also, I find that the heating the part with the iron and then applying the cold solder to be wrong. That solder ought to be hot to start with instead of acting as a heat sink.

What I do is apply a good bit of flux to the part to be soldered. Do the same with the tip of the iron and apply a nice dlob of solder there. Apply that dlob to the part and you get much more effective transfer of heat with a very good solder joint being the result.

Try it once and you'll see that it works better.
