Speedbit Video Accelerator is a big piece of SHIT! It "says" it increases YouTube buffering speed and loads videos faster, but it DOESN'T. I have tried it out many different times. The first time it worked okay, but after watching several videos it actually interfered with the normal loading speed, causing it to not load at all. Do NOT waste your time downloading this piece of crap. It does nothing but aggravate you.

When I ran it, it said I had to change my internet settings to "intranet", which would remove most of my virus protection. bywifi is better plus hassle free. I used this back then and my computer have problems with it. I uninstalled and downloaded Bywifi, works better! sadly lots of people don't know about it, and its pretty underrated, and not so commercialized as this. But works the same but without problems. If anyone has problems with this then download Bywifi as an alternative.

I have tried SpeedBit Video Accelerator many times. The very first time I tried it, all videos that I watched were accelerated just fine. But after I got sick of it, I uninstalled it. Then, I tried re-installing it, but after doing that, it never accelerated it's best anymore. In fact, it actually interrupted the normal loading speeds of videos, so I just removed it for good.

connexion speed , or , old computers , adding more RAM , or unsufficient memory etc !

First of all , cleanup all your browsing history & cookies , & try to upgrade to :

Silverlight 4 , it has a new technology from AKAMAI , okay ?

Install Adobe Shockware along with Silverlight !

In fact , it might not decrease your videos buffering all the way , as long your FIREWALL

keeps blocking sites with Trojans & backdoors !

It's AS GOOD AS IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE COMPLETELY without EITHER leaving parts of it still linked into your system at a low level doing who knows what OR completely disabling all TCP/IP connectivity on your PC.

So either Speedbit are totally and utterly incompetent or they have some ulterior motive for wanting you to keep it installed. I strongly suspect the latter and that the motive is that it is SPYWARE.

I downloaded the free version on my Dell Inspiron 9200 with XP. It screwed up my software badly so that Desktop would not appear with the usual icons. Luckily I have Norton GoBack, so I went back in time before the download to fix the problem. Goback is similar to Windows Restore. Restore never worked well for me. In short, I do not recommend Speedbit Accelerator. Beware!!!
