Yes I use xtreme grip. Sliding your foot on x grip and sliding on regular grip feels the same. Xtreme grip has a bit more resistance but your shoes just glide over the spikes on flip tricks.
Do you mean its too grippy? Or not grippy enough?
You can lookinto getting Xtreme grip or get sone Vans ICO Snowskate shoes. They quit making them but there are some floating around on Ebay. Those work just as well as xtreme grip.
I would go with Xtreme grip then I had the same problem as you, feet were sliding around when I set up for a trick, ect. Xtreme reallu glues your feet to the board.
