The machine in this video is a fake. The spinning magnets around the outside are just a distraction to keep you from thinking about that tall dome like rotor in the middle. Consider how you would fake it up if you wanted to and then look carefully at the video. This isn't socket science.

How much pulley resistance does this thing have? i.e. How big of a generator could it power? If this is legit it is very ingenious. The rotating stators keep everything in sync. I just don't understand how stopping two stators would speed it up. You would think if they were stationary they would slow it down. One of them was facing positive, the other negative. The simple way to clear all of this up is to film the device better.
