  • @thecajunblaze- how is that glock 22 holding up for you, bc i am thinking about getting one myself

  • Love the glock 22,peace of art

  • is it built ford tough !!!

  • I worked in law enforcement and was a smith and wesson man my whole life BUT I watched a show on the sportsman channel and seen a torture test done on the glock 22 gen 4 . They froze it , threw it out of a helicopter , ran it over with a truck , shot it with a shotgiun , buried it in sand and alll sorts of things and when the test was done the glock worked awsome .I am now a proud glock owner . I should have bought a glock years ago , if you want a good gun

this is the one for you ..

  • dont have bullets in it over night or over a very long time!!! it can fuck up the mag spring and cuse failiures!

    PS:sorry my english

  • @21creed False, not only is that not true, I also think having a firearm ready at night is wise.

  • @edbean420 ofcourse its wise to have a gun loaded at all times but thats when you should go witha a revolver that does not have a magazine spring to worry about ;-)

  • @21creed Nearly any quality magazine made in the past 25 years has used good steel for the spring. Leaving a mag loaded for an eternity won't hurt it.

What will reduce a spring's force (spring constant) and reliability is a lot of cyclic loading - that is, loading it to max deflection and unloading it.

If you do a LOT of shooting, either dedicate some mags to range use, or simply rotate your mags. The more you have, the more important it is to number then to keep track of 'em.

  • Im gonna be picking up this gun from a friend of mine pretty soon, ive shot it and all, he did a lil modification with it and shaved down the handle a bit to fit a g23, he also soldered the grip x style, looks pretty neat, hope u read this and just wondering wat u paid for that?

  • Good choice glocks are very reliable guns. I am purchasing my first gun this month and I am going to get the px4 from Beretta 9mm. It was gunna b the glock or the Beretta.but the px4 caught,my eye and I been hearing the gud reviews about it. My next one is gunna be the px4 .45

  • im selling my sten gun tomorow and buying either this one or the 27 series

  • Nice video dude.

  • LOL..... crackheads be dangerous!

  • i think its funny how when glocks first came out nobody wanted one.............now everybody wants one my dads was a police officer and the 22 and 23 was the only ones hed carry

  • manager at a restaurant chain called "Sonic" I carry everyday, car hops think its silly but when someone comes to take money from my safe they will meet a Taurus 605 or a Glock 23

  • Nice vid ive got 2 glock 22,1 is mine the other is my dads and its a great pistol for ipsic shooting.

  • i love what you say @ 2:40 it will knock a crack head on his ass..the .40 s&w is a hi pressure round..nice choice.

  • How many rounds can it hold

  • @lookatthewholepictur it holds 15 rounds.

  • nice video man. I actually just bought this same gun today and it is also my first handgun! Loved it when I shot it this afternoon.

  • Sell it to me

  • mail me one i live in canada the liberal bastards won't let me have one

  • @keir193 Try immigrating to the freedom loving USA

  • i have a G 22 gen 3 as well..They are real reliable. I have always favorited the Glock but my first pistol was a S&W 9mm only because I got a hell of a deal on it. I dont have that anymore but you made a wise choice getting the .40. I am no 9 hater but the .40 is a better defensive round for sure

  • 2:39 lol love how you refer to someone jacked up on crack, but you are right my friend.

  • I have a Glock 22. The only difference between his and mine is mine is a Gen 4.

  • that was my first pistol also i still have it 11 years later never have had a problem with the gun at all bad ammo is its weakness ! so use good ammo no reloads!!!

    thanks bro

  • @55jumpchump I know what you mean I shoot winchester for target rounds and they woork well. ive tried remongton UMC and the gave a 10% misfeed rate.

  • how much did u pay

  • great choice. I purchased a pre-owned G22 as well. 15rds of .40cal is no-joke!!! Also have a Glock 30. Just can't stay away from that 45acp! Great vid.

  • U have the exact same gun holster I have. Cool!!!

  • ``Edumacate me on handguns``

  • @boomwacker101 Thank you for watching!

  • I'd love the G22 a hell of a lot more than i do now if i could friggin control it lol!! 40's a little much for me but then again i'm 17 and i've only got so much arm strength.

  • @XxGLOCK45CALxX You're still young, you'll get there in time.

  • @XxGLOCK45CALxX it has nothing to do with age or arm stength, it has to do with controll of the gun. i bet your arms are a hell of a lot stonger than mine and i have no prob with controling my Glock 22

  • All jacked up on crack, lmfao

  • Cajun, I live in Alex, Louisiana. I have a G22, G17 and 1911...and 12 more pistols. We need to go shooting sometime. I am retired military...like your video.

  • @hlgrice Sweet! I work in Alex from time to time, sounds like fun.

  • Comment removed

  • @thecajunblaze what Gen Glock 22 is that? i really like this one

  • Sweet vid just purchased me same model!!!

  • i shot one of these (with a 9mm interchangeable barrel and ammo)

  • is that round realy a 22 round

  • at 0:52 it looks like it is bent

  • @QWERTYOLOGABLE1 where?

  • beautiful

  • What exactly is the difference between the G22 and the G23??

  • Hey man, thanks for the video. Just bought my first handgun today. And after shooting a few, this one felt the best in my huge ass hands! I've had my friends in The Army and Marines tell me I can't go wrong with a glock and with the value of the guitars in my place, I want to make sure I can stop anyone who might decide to break in!

  • if you cant say edamakat you dont need a gun

  • You need some edamakation

  • I primarily collect 1911s but I do own a Glock22. Good gun I must say.

  • I carry G23. When I first got it I was worried about not having a thumb safety, but know I think its better to not have it because ur finger and ur brain is the safety. U don't need it when ur going to draw on a bad guy. U just draw and shoot. The safety will just get in ur way.

  • @freeze427 love the Glock 23, great all around gun for home protection or conceal carry. Just the best of both worlds.

  • @thecajunblaze I have a harpoon as my side carry weapon.

  • do australian cops use this gun??

  • @StealthBoat Glock is Austrian, as in Europe. Not Austrailian, as in Austrailia.

  • @TheC0nfederate9 i know but do they USE it here

  • @StealthBoat oh I appologize... ummm... they may I'm not sure. I know Austrailans like Steyr though...

  • @StealthBoat my glock 23 is a police issue but im in america...

  • for a nice trigger mod use a dremmel tool and polish all the internal trigger components to a mirror shine, smooths out trigger pull and drops the pull weight by about a quarter pound

  • Is it ported?

  • yeah i plan on buying my first gun in a few days. im going with the glock 30 or the glock 21. i still can't decide. but i do know i want a 45acp. nice review bro.

  • te recomiendo que cambies la pistolera, no es la mas comoda y segun los expertos es inapropiada te recomiendo ver el canal de alpha calibre.....i recomend you to see the chanel of alpha calibre and you will see why you need to buy new pistol carrier

  • Awesome, this will be the first gun for me. Thanks for this great video review. :D

  • Yeah! Its a great gun unless you put the barrel upside down!

  • Got the same gun, love it. Fool proof, dependable, easy to clean and good value

  • lmao dude those little "squirrels" as u refered to are called rifleing. its what makes the bullet spin. lol

  • You've come a long way dude.

Keep up the good work, you know I always enjoy them vidjas.

  • Hope to get one of these someday

  • Awesome gun....I bought it for my carry weapon...when I become a Deputy Sheriff in the next few weeks..this is the very gun I will be using. Good choice!

  • @globaloiltrader It is a great weapon. Lots of LE guys and gals use the G-22 for the duty weapon.

  • @globaloiltrader i was told most ppl in law enforcement carry 40 cals. must be true =)

  • For my personal .40S&W (although 80% of my handguns are .45ACP) my favored self defence round is the 200 grain Winchester Ranger-T series hollow point. It's much like the old "Black Talon" rounds but slightly more weight retention.

My first gun was passed down to me from my Grandfather, he was a Soviet Special Forces operator in the Soviet-Afghan war and he passed down his AK-74 rifle. It was Russian made so its quality (in my mind) surpasses all other AK copies.

  • I have the G19, and have been thinking about adding a G22 to the collection, and eventually a .45 ACP model. Good video. enjoy!

  • @onalandline hey if u want a great 45 acp get a springfield tactical, cuz they make 14 round clips for them! which is alot for 45! i love glocks but for a 45 id go with the springfield tactical, also it has a 5 inch barrell which is super accurate. i shot a paper plate size group at 60 yards with one! and tht was the first time ive ever shot a 45 too.

  • welcome to the Glock family my friend!! ive got a glock 19 myself :) although, I would like to eventually get the 22 like yourself!

  • how is it for small handed shooters?

  • @vuteran11 not sure I have large hands.

  • @vuteran11 well im 13yrs old and i can shoot the gun fine so you should be fine

  • Glocks have a drop safety and a trigger safety. I dont consider those a true safety, but thats my opinion. I consider a true safety to be a manual safety like baretta and 1911's have. Good vid

  • how much did you pay for this used glock?

  • whahah jacked up on crack

  • Glock doesn't have a safety, it have something called the double trigger..

  • i just got a glock to but i wonder if there are any better hand guns

  • Nice piece. I may get myself one of these in the future. Take care!

  • gotta question. where is the safety for the glock??

  • @flydelta522 In the trigger.

  • @thecajunblaze glocks dont have safteys right

  • @flydelta522

the safety is internal, but you can see part of the mechanism in the trigger.

  • @flydelta522 hes technically rite. there is no safety switch, the little part in the middle of the trigger is there cuz when u pull the trigger u have to pull the whole thing it wont let u pull the trigger unless u got the whole trigger, it prevents u from firing if ur finger slips on the side. if tht makes sense. lol

  • @flydelta522

glock dont got no safty ....

  • @vimobenz3 guy seems slow to guns... which is a damn shame... take him to a grain of dirt

  • u mean 0.40 cal this isnt a machine gun then again i dont understand how the american cal works mm is better

  • @TheNERFDUDE97 9MM is 0.35 cal just to give you a idea

  • @lvlitzi .38

  • if its your place of employment and the owner lets you carry strapped on a holster you 100% legally can. And the cops can only watch you carry it unless they suspect you are not legal to have a gun then they will do a background check and if all is good your totally legal.

  • nice vid!

  • @Xss35783ZZ Thank You!

  • what brand holster is that???

  • @icanwalk Nobrand name, just says Made in USA. I picked it up at a local Gun and Knife Show.

  • Very nice video; however, when you were showing how to take the gun apart, you went away for a moment out of camera sight and so I wasn't able to see how you removed the barrel. I just purchased a Glock 22 myself and I want to know how to clean it. Could you share with me how to take it apart and what needs to be oiled. Thanks Mike

  • Are fuckin' mad?!If a fuckin' cop see u holding a handgun...u are fuckin' screwed!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Xss35783ZZ Not "Mad", very "Happy"! Thanks for the comment.

  • @Xss35783ZZ as long as its concealed he wont

  • WOW that is really compact, from the looks of the barrel width, really does look like a 9mm,u have it with a 10 round mag???

  • Why do so many "expert" firearms owners muzzle themselves? So dangerous.

  • Why do so many "expert" firearms owners muzzle themselves? So dangerous.

  • im going to vegas in a week, but the day i get back me and some friends are going to pick up from remington 700's and im not leaving without a glock 22 ive wanted one for some long, so im picking one up finally.

  • @poopcup a hollow tip is a bullet that once it is fired and has possibly entered sum 1 or sum thing it opens up (explodes) and is very very painful

  • where did you get that holster? nice video by the way.

  • @Hungweilo Picked it up at a gun and knife show.

  • @thecajunblaze could you tell me the brand of the holster please?

  • @thecajunblaze it is inpossible to be a 40 call its a 9mm

  • When you shoot down aim at yourself. This is a safety tip.

  • where can i get something like this?

  • Im JAcKeDDD uPp OnnNN CRayACKK

  • @poopoocup Sweet!!

  • @thecajunblaze My mistake didnt wait till you field stripped it,it now looks like a 40,ive seen the government issue with a 15 round mag looks extremely larger obviously than a civilian owned

  • Whats hollow point?

  • nice gun, good luck. hopefully you will get to shoot and kill some druggy that trys to break into your joint.

  • Is there a big difference between the g22 and the g23 in being accurate thanks stay safe

  • @miltnxc123 The G22 is a little larger than the G23. Some would say the G22 is easier to shoot because it's a little heavier. I personally enjoy shooting the G23 more than the G22. That's my opinion.

  • Keep your finger OUT of the trigger guard. Some idiot on CRACK design the GLOCK with the "SAFETY" on the freaking TRIGGER!!!!

  • @NutnButGuns Thanks for the safety tip.

  • that is a sweet glock ama get 1

  • daumnn sexyy(; haha. lovee that glockk.

  • "all jacked up on crack" lmao!

  • I can tell the guy loves the glock 22. I have one my self. So easy and simple. Very accurate from 25-30 yards away.

  • im getting this and a Glock 21

  • Nice video and a great weapon, the glock 22 will be my first pistol!

  • Hey can you please tell me what brand is that holster? Thanks. I really like it.

  • want info...k. I have bought a Glock 22 gen 4 for myself and a Sig P226 SCT for my wife...our firsts as well.......boy am I jealous...The Sig is the whoop ass gun bro. The Glock is nice but already looking for some trigger work to improve accuracy. The Sig shoots the red dot on a target ALL day..."Not so well" with the Glock. $6 for Glock $9 for Sig....Sig is bad ass bro....later....Seeee Yaaaa

  • thats what mine has

  • I meant pulling the trigger "dummy" shot can harm a firing. Even though glocks can last forever

  • This is a well taken care of glock....I am a glock owner my self...but when you want to pull your gun apart just to be safe you should use dummy rounds for dry shots...I heard the firing pin on most gun can be hArmful..keep it oiled rust is a possibility

  • those night sights?

  • @MaxParker22 Yes

  • If you want a comment, there can be only one: For a first gun, you made exactly the right choice. This is it. This baby won't let you down, it won't jam, it won't break, and it's got no other firing controls than the trigger, no cock you might forget about, you only reach for your gun and pull the trigger.

There is a reason why most police forces use this type of gun.

  • Ahh nice Glock !! I have one I owe another $193 on before it's mine and I can't wait.. My first polymer handgun !!

  • @mixwell1983 Good Luck, hope you enjoy the Gun!

  • i know this is real sad but im 12 and i wanna buy a glock 22 how much is it

  • if you join the police academy, do you need to pay for your gun? which is commonly a glock 22 model?

  • @McAdrian321 It depends on your local law enforcement. Where I live the city police provide the weapons to the officers and the Sheriff's Department on the other hand they have to buy there own weapon. Just depends on how they want to spend the tax dollars they have.

  • nice gun i picked mine up 6 days ago also glock 22 40 cal.

  • Not a bad choice, but for a restaurant owner/manager wanting to carry concealed, a better option (if you're intent on shooting the .40) would have been the Glock 23, which is the compact version of the 22, or maybe even the 27, which is the sub-compact baby glock. A full size 22 is almost impossible to carry concealed.

  • Consider putting a Glock 3.5lb trigger pull into your pistol. It is a superb $20 investment. You might also like a Glock brand extended release, about fifteen bucks. A Hogue brand "Handall" rubber pistol grip, about twelve bucks. Small mods, big payback.

Excellent pistol. Congratulations on making a very good choice!

  • What kind of holster do you have?

  • @SolarEmp1re Many, Blackhawk, Galco..... check out my video on the G-27 review. I show all my holsters.

  • get rid of that plastic guide rod and get a metal one before the damn thing breaks on ya

  • @dagofromchicago +1 to that !! That's the first thing I'm going to do once I get my Glock.

  • i like it

  • would love to get a hand gun but the stupid scottish laws says there illegal

  • this is my first handgun aswell and im very very happy with it put alot of rounds through it and cannot complain at all. super simple. now im addicted to guns ha. good video put some more up

  • nice

  • @MrZooyork22 thanks

  • "all them little swirls" are called rifling. Rifling is there because it puts spin on the bullet and makes it more accurate, that's why you throw a football in a spiral, it's the same principle. P.S. this is oldhogman's son speaking, not oldhogman himself.

  • swirls are called rifling fyi

  • how much?

  • it cool u get to ccw that thing i live in nyc lol

  • got gangster on us at the end haaaaa

  • Nice video. Gotta love America man. Not as many bullshit laws like here in Canada. Gonna do the course here and go through the ropes until I can get myself a Glock. Really liking this firearm. I've already passed a firearms course here but have to take a seperate one for restricted handguns. Sucks big time. Everyone is criminal until proven fit to own a handgun.

  • Nice Gun

  • bro your camera is SUPER HD..how much did you spend ? a million dollars???

  • Great gun!! I just purchased one myself. I now have the Glock 26 and the 22. You will be happy with your gun.

  • Also my first handgun purchase on top of my rifles. Glocks are the best

  • its nice gun for sure

  • this dude got A.D.D fo real

  • this gun is the standard gun for greenwich police.

  • how much did it cost you?

  • $399

  • how much paid for it dude?

  • $399
