  • I'm not a heat fan, but men this guy sucks

  • Hazlem the best at the Heat... i like that!!

  • rondo took like 2 jumpers in whole season...tzzzz, so not a big deal he's got 50% fg

  • are you serious?? rondos got a good jumper? hes too good he hasnt to take the js? coach lets be real look at his field goal stats...

  • @Sh4productions he technically shoots at 50% from the field

  • Dwade issue? i've watched i couple of these already and you just sound like a hater

  • @cubsfanatic1 Rondo doesnt need to take over the game scoring wise. Boston already have enough scorers. Rondo's assist help the other three veterans score. Thats the celtics at their best

  • Rondo has a ring.....

  • Someone plaese tell me the song at the beggining!

  • RONDO BEST PG IN THE NBA, ROSE my favorite point guard, not because hes the best PG, but hes speed, hops, and the way he leads his team, and hes only 22.

  • Rose is the best point guard in the NBA, but Rondo is more of a traditional point guard. Rose is actually more of a power guard. But I love Rose and Rondo, but yeah, Rose is definitely the BEST!

    Anyway, this video is awesome!

  • if u hate this video i have a solution....DONT WATCH IT!!!

rondo IS the best pointgaurd in the NBA and NOT derik rose!!

  • Wait rondo...best pg?haha who won the MVP this year?

  • @stupidpwner123 derreck rose from the bulls

  • You have heat in ur name and ur going against the heat in every single video....

  • Lol heat breakdown calls everyone an idiot....he's the idiot for calling ppl an idiot

  • Hey Coach, how u like D-Wade vs the Celts now?

30+ ppg on better than .500 shooting 2 str8 years in the playoffs against them!

    Break that down!

  • HAHAH CELTICS FAIL!!!!!!!! TO WIN SERIES!!!!!

  • 2-0 against the Celtics, dude. Fix your lisp and "sports broadcasting"

  • @4:00 that is not a travel by Lebron. By the way Coach Nick I LOVE your breakdowns, I want to meet you one day and talk basketball

  • @4:00 that is not a travel by Lebron. By the way Coach Nick I LOVE your breakdowns, I want to meet you one day and talk basketball

  • LeBron heh.

  • Nice haircut coach :D

  • Heat have came such a long way.

  • thank u for this video rondo is the best point guard and wade is lazy i mean LAZY

  • congrats heat you beat a banged up celtic team ha you couldnt and cant do it with a healty celtic team all u can do is cry like bitches that you are!

  • i thoght this was heat breakdown not rajon rondo breakdown

  • LoL wade

  • pat riley is the only hope !

  • Are u a celtics fan? or hate the heat? because all you did in this video was talk about the mistakes they did. not the good things

  • @redskinsboy11 he breaks down why the winning team won and why the losing team lost, does that for all games ;)

  • CELTIC!

  • celtics = veteran players.. allen, pierce, garnett, o'neal

  • Coach nick, tell the NBA poll voters about rondo, cause they think Rose is better

  • imo, celtics has the best, and i do mean the best(even tho i'm a laker fan) team in the nba right now. its not that any particular individual are as athletic as lebron james, and i know they are old, but the players on the roster knows their role, cheap salary for talent, and good team chemistry/smart basketball iq/both. they all seem to know how to get themselves open and this is all rondo have to look for.

  • Rondo is the best point guard in NBA. Allen is the best shooter and Garnett is a beast and Shaq is a legend. CELTICS

  • @MDN2177 Stay tuned to more on BBALLBREAKDOWN - we'll be doing a Celtics Retro Breakdown soon!

  • so basically the loss was wade's fault.. lol. well probably was, he's still my favorite player and arguably the best in the league though

  • Do a breakdown of MJ Please. We want the best ever.

  • Do a breakdown of MJ & Bulls Please. We want best ever.

  • The guy who made this vid would make a better coach than Spoelstra.

  • @grasd2 Thanks! I feel bad for him - he's in a no win situation. If he can survive, perhaps he'll be able to make the necessary adjustments. Stay tuned for more Heat Breakdown this week - as well as other games over at BBALLBREAKDOWN.

    Coach Nick

  • 1. Deron Williams

    2. Derick Rose

    3. Chris Paul

    4. Rajon Rondo

  • @AshGhiassi1 Williams isn't better than CP3 you asswipe. I'd like to know what CP3 has to do to be considered the best point guard. Maybe he should stop putting up historical seasons for a point guard and gain 20 pounds and lose a step or three and inflate his stats in Jerry Sloan's system. Will that garner him any respect? Because right now putting up 20/5/11 with 3 steals on 50% shooting year after year and carrying a shit team to the playoffs isn't enough for CP3 to get any respect.

  • @grasd2 OH NO U GOT IT ALL WRONG! I respect CP3 ... ALOT... the one not getting any respect is you you lil "asswipe"... u cant do shit thru a computer screen -______-;

  • @grasd2 That is a very compelling, and passionate argument. We will do a big PG extravaganza in the coming weeks and let you guys decide...

  • @AshGhiassi1 Not sure if Rose can be put 2nd - but I'd take any of these guys to start my team!

  • hey they just wanna chill

  • Comment removed

  • @AshGhiassi1 drose dwill and cp3 > rondo

  • PLEASE BREAKDOWN AS MANY GAMES AS POSSIBLE!!!! Now I watch this more then i watch TV !!! actually the only time I watch TV is when their are NBA games on (which is like everyday) but still i like this better then anything on TV other then the actual game :)!

  • @AshGhiassi1 You got it. I still need to eat and sleep, but I've been beefing up my system to guarantee I can do more games. Stay tuned!

  • @AshGhiassi1

hahaha dont trust this guy. he only does videos when they lose

  • PLEASE BREAKDOWN AS MANY GAMES AS POSSIBLE!!!! Now I watch this more then i watch TV !!!

  • d wade is the best man, dont know whats happening with him but look at him last season, the heat should be doing a lot better with lebron

  • rondo isnt the best PG in the league!!!! Do you think he can put up same numbers on other teams? cp3, dwill, drose, even nash can take over games by scoring. can rondo do that?

  • @cubsfanatic1 Rondo can do a lot of things the others can't and vice versa - irrespective of which teams any of them are playing on, they'd still be great. However, we're finishing up our Jazz vs. Lakers breakdown over at BBALLBREAKDOWN, and it's hands down Deron Williams who's the best PG in the league right now. No question. Stay tuned for the evidence at BBALLBREAKDOWN.

    Coach NIck

  • @cubsfanatic1 It's a great debate and everyone's getting in on it. We'll be doing a big Point Guard Extravaganza soon and let you guys decide once and for al who's the best!

  • @heatbreakdown I Literally can not wait to see That!!!! That will just be so great to see! Wow, I'm gonna pray for patients.

  • @sinles15 Awesome! Stay tuned - it'll be over at bballbreakdown - our parent channel

    Coach Nick

  • @bballbreakdown Thanx I live on bballbreakdown as well! Just want to throw something out there. I pray that one day you review a Michael Jordan game or (compilation) where it breaks down why he's so good! What greater bball breakdown than the greatest BBaller? Lol

  • @cubsfanatic1 We don't know if he can you can't really blame him on being on a good team but there's no doubt he's one of the elite point guards in the league.

  • rondo have good jumper? come on. he doesnt have to shoot cause he has 4 hall of famers around him.

  • @cubsfanatic1 The statistics show that his outside jump shooting percentage is above average. He's good enough that he doesn't have to take many since he can get to the basket at will. I think KG, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce should be thankful they get to play with Rondo!

  • @ThaCauze I think I've figured something out about Heat fans and I'd like u to tell me what u think: it seems as though LeBron coming to the Heat has fractured Heat fans. Those that are Wade fans blame LeBron for the rough start (ball hogging, TO's) and LeBron fans blame Wade for everything I've been pointing out (won't run team offense, lazy on D). If they don't start playing better, I could see this becoming a civil war in Miami. Thoughts?

  • Lebron is the only great player on this team. Their bench sucks, Bosh can't reb and got completely demolished on the inside by Zack Randolph. Wade is just being wade. I feel bad for Lebron.

  • @hornymanonfire I wonder if they're still best friends now.

  • HeatBreak, Nice! So few people know what they are looking at when they watch basketball. I hate the Heat but enjoy listening to someone that can break down the game.

    Great stuff.

  • @bluemonk611 Thanks! I think there are lots of people here who enjoy watching them struggle. I'm sure they'll begin to turn it around against some of the weaker teams in the league.

    Coach Nick

  • Thumbs up if you'd like to see a Lakers Break Down by this guy.

  • @fireworld05 This guy will definitely do a Lakers breakdown soon!

  • Ok first of all, I agree with some of your points about the heat and Wade. But your love for Rondo made this video so moronic that you should change the title of this video too "RONDO=GOAT!!!!". First of all, Rondo has a great jumpshot but does not use it? Ummm buddy...he does not use it because he's terrible at it. Where have you been? 2nd, That pass to Ray where you were like "something only magic had and hardly anybody else has now", RONDO WAS LOOKING STRAIGHT A ALLEN THE WHOLE TIME! lol

  • @koolguy17 Thanks for the comments. Why would I change the post to Rondo=Goat? In my book,a goat is someone you blame for a bad loss or something...Seems like you'd want me to change it to "I love Rondo"

Every game I've broken down, I'm able to show multiple jump shots he takes and makes - the form is good, arc, it's not a bad jump shot. He's simply good enough to get to the basket whenever he wants. And that was a cross court pass through traffic - not many guards get it there like he does.

  • @heatbreakdown - fyi GOAT = greatest of all time

  • @frokenstein OMG, I'm too old to know that. Thanks. I just saw some stats about Rondo's outside jumper and it's above average in the league...

  • @heatbreakdown Coach Dick, the world's first Youtube coach. What's next in your illustrious career, a shot at being a RealGM.com ??? You're a joke dude.

  • @AlexTechie Sorry you don't feel like the thousands of others who find our channels very useful and informative. No one has ever been clever enough to make a pun out of my name before, cool. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment - stay tuned for our next breakdown as we do a combo of both the Charlotte and Memphis games!

    Coach NICK

  • @AlexTechie You're a failure, go kill yourself. Do the world a favor. Bye.

  • @ThaCauze I just have problems with players that don't give out all the time. If that's my fault, then guilty as charged. But you can't argue with beautiful HD video, can you?

  • Superstars???

who? Dwayne overrated i need 35 freethrows always hurt always havin an excuse about not having help Wade or Chris screaming ON STAGE AT THE MIAMIA CONCERT like a t-rex like he's about to takeover the paint in every arena when he should have been screaming "THIS IS A PROCESS!!!"

maybe they aren't superstars, just hyped all-stars beside Lebron who is the second best in the league but is scared 2 DEATH of Boston.

If Boston had split would he b in Miami??

    scared!

  • @mrkareem1975 LMFAO!! Great passion, love it. Stay tuned - trying to download the Memphis and CHarlotte games now.... so we can break them down soon.

  • Go f*ck yourself Coach Dick. Thumbs if you think this guy is talking shit about the Heat rather than talking to Heat fans.

  • @AlexTechie No thumbs for you. Oh well, nice try.

  • @AlexTechie ok he is giving a breakdown and when a guy(Wade) half asses guarding ray allen of all people, you expect him to talk about how great he or the miami heat is or are? Sorry it is butterflies and beautiful sunsets all year round in South beach. I bet you hopped on the bandwaggon when you hear LeBron come. Go fuck yourself Alex.

  • Well i think you have to account to the fact that Rondo is literally staring Ray Allen in the face on every play in transition. He doesn't just happen to find Ray Allen, he's looking for him the entire run. And simply waiting for Ray to get in position. Especially if Ray starts with a 3, Rondo always looks for him. I mean that's not a bad thing, but you can't praise his vision that much when his head is in Ray Allen's direction every play.

  • @AJVersatility19 Ehhhh, I'm not buying that argument. He's looking for Pierce. He's looking for KG, he's looking for everyone while he's out there - that's why he's a great PG.

  • @heatbreakdown Buuuut. In the clips you showed, i see Rondo's head in Ray's direction on each play. And i had to argue the way you were commentating making it sound as if Rondo needed eyes on the back of his head to spot Ray.

  • Rondo the best PG alive? I'd recommend you watch Chris Paul.

  • @Kinksayshi It's a great debate. We're going to have a big Point Guard Breakdown Extravaganza over at BBALLBREAKDOWN, so check us out there and we'll let everyone decide who's the best PG

  • so its wade's fault ray allen made a jumpshot over lebron? what sense does that make? and rondo the best pg.....haha. dwill and cp3 are way better because they can do what he does plus they have offense.

  • @bbblack40 Yeah - because he doesn't stay with his man, he puts his teammates in tough situations... How can you say Rondo does not have offense? If you think that, do yourself a favor and watch a few Boston games..

  • One question, If Boston had split up due to free agency or trade, would Lebron leave Cleveland and go to Miami?

if no , then he's scared of Boston and unless Orlando,Chicago or Atlanta beats them(which all Heat Bandwagon Fans pray 4) There is NO getting past the team he is scared of.

  • @mrkareem1975 I think he was leaving if they didn't get to the finals last year - no matter what happened or who they picked up - he had made that decision before the season started.

  • Dunno if Rondo can be considered the best PG, i mean i haven't caught much ball on tv this year, but from what i saw in past year he kinda starts playing bad in the fourth because he doesnt want to get fouled.

The best PG's in the game can't be a liability in the 4th.

The best PG in the game can't be a liability at the stripe.

If Rondo hit 80% of ft's he would be the top PG... otherwise i think its Williams or Paul, with Williams being injured less so i would go with him.

  • @deathByStupid This is the best argument I've seen against Rondo - I don't know if he's playing not to get fouled in 4th or not, but he needs to improve his FT to at least 70%

  • i dont understand the traveling part. i thought u can move ur non-pivot foot backwards as long as u dont move ur pivot foot.

  • @achieveacademy same here :/

  • @achieveacademy same here lol

  • @achieveacademy @8uzzY @gshooting

You can move the non pivot foot all you want without it being a travel. HOWEVER, when you do a shot fake and go to the basket - it's poor footwork when your non pivot foot goes backwards first, before going forward. That said, he slid his pivot foot when he stepped back and that was the travel. If need be, I can demonstrate the correct footwork on camera...

    Coach NIck

  • @heatbreakdown

Thank u coach nick for ur explanation, I think it is a good idea to show demo of correct footwork in the future. Man i wish few people subscribe so u can answer all the questions.

  • @heatbreakdown ill try save you the time for the camera..but im kind of lost as well...its poor when you shot fake and move your non pivot back but is it travel? what would be the right way in that situation? ill be the first to admit i always always do that...

  • Oddly enough I feel like Wade is the weakest link in the "big 3". I just don't see Wade and Lebron ever developing the chemistry needed to win a title. We know Lebron can play with his teammates and get them involved and make them look good. But Wade is far too much of a scorer to blend into the team. Its as if Lebron never watched Wade play before he decided to play with him.

  • @LoneshotHero I dont see Wade being the weak link. He will have some bad games, and some good games. The Heat dont seem to have any urgency in their game right now.

The front line is the weak link as predicted prior to the start of the season.

PER of Heat vs Opponenet by Position is PG (+5.9) SG (+11.8) SF (+12.2) PF (-4.6) C (1.3)

The good thing for them is that after 2 season of not winning they can always trade bosh for a bunch of guys with size who can actually defend.

  • @deathByStupid How can their PER be +5.9 at the PG position???? Impossible!!!! Are you counting LeBron as PG?????

  • @heatbreakdown Nope.

Dwade 28% of time total PG minutes. (24 PER at PG vs 9.8 OPP PER)

Arroyo 46% of totaltime (11.3 PER vs 7.8 OPP PER)

    House 17% (7.1 PER vs 3.7 PER)

Anyway you cant really break down the stats effectively this early in the season, they will level out after another 10-15 games.

But large trends like the pathetic production from PF-C can usually be trusted.

Issue is the formulas do some funny things with low minutes.

I will keep my eye open on the PG/PF/C stats.

  • Kobe has that passing vision aswell, not just Rondo....

  • @reneperezz Ehhh, not as good as Rondo..... but he does see floor well.

  • @reneperezz Yea, Kobe is the GOD. GTFO!!

  • @nipo10847 in basketball terms he is

  • I m not sure if anyone has asked this b4, coach nick...

wt camera do you use for shooting ur videos, and what software do u use for editing? Thanks!!

  • @tim10888 I use an old Sony PD150 with a green screen behind me. I then blow up the image to 150% so that it fits the HD aspect ratio... I edit with Final Cut Pro (all Mac, all the time) and also use After Effects for green screen keying... Thanks!

    Coach Nick

  • My Miami heat team was playing like crap. I like you Wade, but the the hellll? Lebron, didn't exactly put in a big effort either. I may not like the Celtics personally, but the Celtics have heart and they play hard to the end even if they are loosing. My Miami heat team on the oother hand just gave up in the very begiining

  • @lambert247 I feel ya! Perhaps they'll watch a few of these and start to get on the same page!

    Coach Nick

  • Good overview of the game, i dont know if you commented on this before but what really upsets me about this Miami team is the slow ass basketball they play. That was always a problem for the Cavs team, i even heard barkley and kenny comment on that previous seasons several times, but thats just it. Pass the ball faster around the defense, it will crack at one point for sure, and there are guys who can take advantage when that happens. Otherwise it is just iso after iso play.

  • @80y4n Awesome observation and suggestion. The ball should be whipped around quickly! the top 5 defensive teams in the league can cause serious problems with their offense. So they can win 55 games, but not make it to the conference finals!

  • very interesting and good video, straight to the point and educational once again!

  • Hey Coach Nick, nice breakdown and great music selection.

  • @ToniTouch Thanks! Don't forget we've got plenty at BBALLBREAKDOWN as well. Stay tuned for the Raptors game...

  • more like celticbreakdown! haha

you should make a celticbreakdown channel and a Lakerbreakdown

  • @jounin9988 Yes - I would love to do those other channels, but I need to eat and sleep.

  • @studiob2 Next season? If they're at least #2 by March, he's gone... sorry coach Spo

  • Rondo as the best point guard?

    naaaaahhhhhhhhh!

  • @mbiawogi It's a great debate that's been raging over at BBALLBREAKDOWN - you should check it out over there. Breakdowns of other NBA teams! THanks for commenting!

    Coach Nick

  • Quit changing your mind on who's the best point guard in the NBA. It's getting annoying and makes you seem like a 6 year old bandwagoner.

  • @iBatzman Listen - these guys are so good, it's gotta be like the BCS - they're only as good as their last game. If Rondo is killin' it, then he's better than D-Will and CP3... They're all THAT good

  • @bballbreakdown

I understand that but flip flopping every other video only destroys your credibilaty. Williams hit a game winner tonight and the Jazz have become the comeback kings now. I'm guessing now you're making a video of how Deron Williams is the best point guard in the league. You're making yourself look like an ESPN analyst or Charles Barkley minus the close-mindedness.

If you can't settle with one, just say a players name and put "is one of the best (postion) in the NBA."

  • @iBatzman But that's the point, isn't it? If people aren't getting up in arms over my picks, then they're not commenting, not interacting, and that's what we're trying to do. Let's stir it up and get the conversation going, man! And you are right, I would be breaking down Utah's game, ready to anoint D-Will, but something tells me I'd find plenty of reasons why they got down by so much in the first place - and that probably rests on D-Will's shoulders too!

  • @bballbreakdown

No, one reason people love your channel is because it's an alternative to what ESPN/NBA have to offer. Which is a non-biased, non-cluster fuck of annoyance. But you seem to be heading down that direction.

And yeah, I bet you were going to pass D-Will the best point guard in the game till I called you out on your flip flopping. Not a bad excuse thought. WIll be looking forward to more videos.

  • @iBatzman Now you're making me sound like John Kerry! Don't worry - I think my credibility will survive intact. I certainly don't want to go down the road of all those ESPN analysts with their freeze dried opinions! Stay tuned for Heat vs. Toronto on HeatBreakdown, as well as something new coming on BBALLBREAKDOWN.

    Coach Nick

  • @bballbreakdown very good observation don't know what wade was doing but his head obviously was some where else

  • i really hate how the heat half ass everything. defensively leave allen open? Ego is a huge factor and im surprised. Yeah and there winning the championship this year...

  • @HDBlazers7 Yes - I'm surprised Spoelstra said stuff like he did on TV... and the fact that Riley was in the stands taking notes doesn't look good...

  • rondo is not the best point guard in the nba chris paul is better

  • @sebas000075 Awesome debate, isn't it. Well, check out our breakdowns at bballbreakdown - we've going back and forth on the best PG there - and we'll do a big post with the top 5 PGs and let you guys duke it out in the comments.

    Coach Nick

  • look how paul pierce shoves wade down at 3:12. some people think wade suffered a light concussion there. thoughts? anyways, i think the league should look into that. a blatant flagrant early in the game.

  • @vwg12345 You better be joking. Wade was falling on Pierce and was off balance anyway. There was no way that was a flagrant. It could have been a weak touch foul I guess.

And a concussion from that? Wow. Desperate for excuses are we?

  • @studiob2 Phil? How about Riley? Now that would be awesome - to see Phil go against RIley in the finals. Never watched the Heat too much before, so if this has always been their offense, no wonder they only won when they had an overwhelming advantage with Shaq and Wade - and the refs on their side (Game 6 vs. Dallas)

  • 2:05

Rondo is the best point guard in the NBA because he can make an uncontested dunk.

    Discussion over.

  • @TehSamurai Have you checked out our great discussion about this over on BBALLBREAKDOWN? I think you'll love it -CP3, Rondo, Rose, D-Will - we'll do a big episode about them all and let you guys battle it out in the comments!

    Coach Nick

  • @TehSamurai Uncontested would be an open lane to the basket, he had a guy standing under the net for gods sake.

  • @TehSamurai 2:05

It shows rondo can play above the rim & has much more athleticism then people give him credit for. When you can go 4 games without an assist & still be leading the leauge in assists like Rondo... I does not matter who the hell you have on your team, You can play.

  • I really like your videos ! keep your great work up!

  • @Tmac1Yao11 Thanks! Don't forget about BBALLBREAKDOWN for breakdowns for everybody else non-Heat related - like Houston!!

  • @heatbreakdown Im looking forward for a Houston breakdown. ps i already subscribed to BBALLBREAKDOWN

  • Im a Heat Fan but what you said are totally correct!

  • @sakisgw3 When Mike Miller comes back, things will be different. But there' a defense issue which Miller will not help.

  • knicks fan (yes, THAT organization....lol) here, & i have to say this is an amazing breakdown. never seen anything like this. I'm about to subscribe and catch up on some of your other vids. I wished more teams did this because it shows you a different perspective on things and actually shines light on the good and bad plays that have occurred for xyz team.

    Major props @heatbreakdown

  • @AgentZer0oo0 Awesome, and welcome. Don't forget to check out our parent channel BBALLBREAKDOWN, where you'll see breakdowns just like this one for all other teams, including your Knicks vs. the Sixers from last week (you may want to cover your eyes for that one! :)

  • @bballbreakdown

oh no doubt ima def. check that out, even tho my knicks are sucking pretty bad recently smh...but congrats for doin this its pretty cool. I have a question tho, what do you personally think will be the major changes that Miami will have to do?

  • @AgentZer0oo0 They need to revamp their offense - it'll work against almost all the teams in the NBA, but when they go against good defensive teams, perhaps the top 5 in the league, they won't get great shots consistently. And defensively, they're such a liability at the PG position, and there are so many great PGs. Mike Miller will help for sure. But they need to start focusing on playing harder on defense and running the plays Coach Spoelstra has designed. Can they do this? Sure, but will they?

  • great work!!! Rondo is the best PG in the league. He does it all.

  • @VillanovaBasketball Thanks! Make sure to check out our parent channel BBALLBREAKDOWN for some other breakdowns about Rondo and how he's the best. And you can also see an argument for CP3 being the best too! Heat vs. Toronto here tonight, Lakers vs. Denver on BBALLBREAKDOWN soon.

  • awesome breakdowns man!!!

  • @kb824fan Thanks! For even more great stuff, don't forget to check out BBALLBREAKDOWN (if you haven't already)

  • shut up about rondo being the best point guard, we realize that is your opinion you dont need say it every 30 seconds

  • @TheAiralert LMFAO!!! Love it - we'll do a big PG comparison extravaganza and try to settle the issue once and for all! Stay tuned and don't forget about BBALLBREAKDOWN for all your other non-Heat breakdowns!

    Coach Nick

  • @heatbreakdown yeah you act like it is so certain that rondo is the best. Give cp3 and dwill some credit they have been dominant for the past 3 or 4 years as leaders of their teams! Rondo has broken out relatively recently on a team with seasoned veteran leaders so you gotta at least keep cp3 and deron in the conversation man (and by the looks of it, that young upstart john wall will be making a convincing argument for himself in the coming years)

  • Actually, i think rondo said something like how he knows almost exactly where his guys are gonna be, he knows where they like the ball and where to shoot it, so he could pass even in the dark. Thats like pure chemistry.

  • @WizWildfire You can say that again! Pure

  • But the Heat only lost by 8 points...there's something to see there.

  • @WorldOfSnakes Well, they managed to trim a 20+ lead but I don't think you'll find any Celtics who could tell you they were really threatened - I'm not saying the Celtics are that much better than the Heat - they're about 10 points better...

  • i think chris paul and deron williams clearly have that kind of court vision... rondo just looks better bc his teammates are more superior to theirs... im just saying offensively speaking chris paul and or deron would be doing exactly what rondo is in this system with these players prolly even more with their solid off. games. however i agree defensively rondo is a beast. imo john wall has the potential to be as good defensively as rondo is. he has some of the same defensive instincts.

  • @MrJeckel For controlling the game on both sides of the court, I don't think there's anybody better than Rondo. His passing is pinpoint and precise, he can get into the lane when he wants to, and he can really wreak havoc on opponents' offenses with his quick hands and good helping defense.

  • Can someone count for me how many illegal screen is being set by Boston all game long?

  • @xingli123 Good question - and they call the big one on LBJ at the end! I don't know if they're that much worse than anybody else - but they do set a ton of picks, don't they? Beautiful

  • Is Spoelstra to be blamed here?

  • @CarlitosDK No - I think he was going to be hung out to dry either way. But the sound bites from the locker room I showed are pretty telling. I think he's getting tired of teaching the Heat the right way and not getting results.... which is kinda not his fault, and then kinda really is
