I just wanted to clarify why we do this. Believe it or not, Brandon and I are not rich (I work retail at Best Buy part time and he works as a software consultant). The truth is, we saw enough people and friends with broken devices that we thought maybe consumers didn't really know the limits of their devices. We try to show exactly what those limits are so consumers can consider what, if any, protection their devices would need. We are paying out of pocket until we find a sponsor.-Darren

Because we see videos of reckless destruction of devices get millions of hits all the time. Why not make a video that is actually useful to the consumer? In the years I have worked at Best Buy, I've been amazed at how many people come back in with stories of how their devices broke on 1 or two foot falls. At least this way, people know if they need a case or insurance ahead of time.

@mos3sgameplays Yes, but it's a matter of how easily can it shatter. A 3 feet drop on a hard surface can happen quite easily. It does kind of show how well the consumer is valued if the product can survive at least the most common falls. Look at how well the Samsung Galaxy survived the 3 foot drop. Of course you have your "drop/shock resistant" accessories, but it's nice to know your product does still have some survivability on its own.
