In 1985 HM men went to FF Power Station, with Coal from Wooley Bunker.( After the miners strike.) We had 6 trains per day from HM to FF. They spent millions at Wooley Pit, then blew it up one Sunday morning. It was open about 2 years.
It was not unusual to make 20 hours + on one shift.
It was worse if you had to knock some cripples off at The Ferry, took even more time.
They've pretty much removed all the sidings there too apart from the old signal heads and some pointwork :( - The only real signs of any coal and railway activity there is the signal box and the pumping lakes/settling beds for pumping water out of the mines.
Having said that the box is now open again all day instead of just having all the signals off and the AB becoming Horbury Bridge to Barnsley.
