  • The best interpretation... Dang Thai Son :)

  • Not my favorite interpretation but whoever can play this has my respect.

  • I would say: not great playing. I felt no emotion by listening to his playing, which should be the essence of music. He just plays like a robot trying to mimic human sensitivity by his gestures.

  • @hoggy82003 i have to say i really agree! Hes just playing the notes with nothing behind them- and in speeding up the tempo has lost the magic that should really be behin the piece! x

  • @hoggy82003 I'm so sick of people like you who think they alone understand the "essence of music" and put down other people who are trying their best just to satisfy your own ego. Nobody gives a damn about your "emotions", so can it. You're probably not even a musician.

I've noticed that you never seem to make positive comments about anyone's playing. It's extremely easy to criticize in a destructive manner, not so easy to criticize constructively.

  • Wonderful!!

  • Look at that piano, woooow....GORGEOUS!

  • He messed up right right in my favourite part.. But still great.

  • really amazing interpretation.

  • who's this pianist ? I can't remind to have seen him before...

  • @Andre1214

From his website, I got that his name Hideaki Yoshida...

    he's without any doubt excellent!

  • nice, but not as dreamy as it should be

  • He doesn't use the pedal as much as he should be. That's the reason for that.

  • That was outstanding. This is one of my favorite piano pieces. Debussy was an utter genius, such beauty and emotion from every note.

  • Gorgeous playing.

    I'm working on this piece.:]

  • Wonderful playing -- every bit as good as the Richter live recording (my favourite!)

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh Debussyyyyyyyyyyy....just beautiful throughout

  • Beautiful

  • Very interesting. I'm a senior in high school, and will be majoring in piano through college. I'm looking for a good impressionistic piece to contrast the Ravel Toccata, which I'm planning on learning. This might be it...especially since I'll be visiting China this summer. lol Wonderful playing!
