Nice video, what program did you use to edit everything? im using WMW, which sux pretty bad, how do you make everything speed up like that etc?, which program?
The only thing I have running there is xperl raid frames, and omen threat meter. Everything else is old-school UI. It's a little cluttered because I forgot to turn off "Target of targets buffs". So you can see all my buffs on Krosh's target frame.
It seems pretty simple to tank, it just takes good timing and well, a healer to be there and at least 9-10k. I wonder if this can be done as a frost mage. I've been frost since lv 1 and I have been able to run kara but I attempted this boss as just a regular range DPS but I gave up since I think I'm not cut out for it until I get more gear. I wodner if it can actually be tanked as a frost mage
Awesome video, I've done gruul's a fair bit now but never as a mage tank. I just got all the merciless glad gear and the +stam +fire resist epics form the badge vendor, this video has given me a great perspective on the fight as a tank! =D
good idea to get the new items from the honored rep from quartermasters for more stam and resil... my guild did it with a mage in all that gear (PvP stuff works good to) and we downed them

Yeah, I have a pally healer that I usually take in there now that other mages in our guild do this, and you have to really trust your healers to stay on their assigned targets, and trust the raid members to not get themselves killed.
The instructions were clear and simple, and you had my favorite band for the music.
Just a few questions though, where are your talents, and what attacks did you use through the fight? This is the best video that I have ever seen on you tube. good job!
For talents I bounce between full fire and arc/fire (PoM Pyro), but usually arc/fire, which works great for this, (burst dmg in case he resists first attacks etc, and no threat reduction to my fire spells.) Check me out on the armory for specific talent build. During the fight I pretty much just spam fireball when i'm not spellstealing. The spell pushback can be annoying if you don't have 2 pieces of T4, but really won't matter in the long run.
