I daresay that had it not been for Ice T C Walking on stage, none of the rappers from the West Coast would be doing it. If Ice T didn't do it, maybe WC would have started the trend, although that would have been until years later.

It was definitely a trend that Ice T started- and eventually, you could say that Ice T is responsible for the C Walk hitting the mainstream and everyone doing it. He definitely had the balls to do something that most rappers would try to hide away, or something.

Ice-T is one of those crips, he claim crenshaw rollin 30s crip gang. and dated a crip let that was down with the hood, he even met Stanley tookie williams on several occasions. he didnt invent the crip walk, but he is the 1st person to ever do the crip walk on national tv. he brought that shit to the mainstreem, then all wankstas took the hood dance and made it mainstreem and started doing it in pop music videos, even didy was doing it, lol but to them on the west coast its a crip thing only!
