the first CX TV commercial I watched as I could remember. it was aired when I was in junior secondary school. the commercial is surprisingly up-to-date and still looks quite modern (apart from those models' hair styles) ...

My first trip on Cathay was in late 1993 when I was a little boy; somehow, I can remember this ad clearly especially those models in red... Thanks for sharing!

@chiefflirtattendant they do make good ads now too. Its just that you are not happy that it now does not cover too much of your comfort zone as this ad does.But the irony of this ad was that this is predominantly an Asian airline which was just focusing on the western world. But then HK was then a british colony then wasn't it? Times have changed but some people just find it difficult to shed off the old baggage.

I always loved the way (since the ad came out all those years ago - alright, I'm an old fuddy duddy) the 3 FAs turned their heads back to look at the camera. The one on the left tilts her head down, the middle one tilts backwards, and the one on the right is straight up. There's some kind of aesthetic appeal there.
