After watching this episode, I feel that Naaza's plan to capture Suiko (Torrent) was redundant and lazy. It should've been a straightforward battle, and somehow involving Shin (Cye) turning evil himself and having his armor turn red.

The Five Elements interact with each other and give rise to the fundamental cycle of forces. The ronin each represent an element. Also, the Four Warlords are like the Four Heavenly Kings, who are associated with particular seasons - just like the warlords' armors correspond with Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.

Cye was okay, but meh. His personality was "British Accent". Somehow that gives him a character, according to the translators. I hate it when a charater's personality is based entirely around their accent. I think he's supposed be the "Kind" one, but in the end all they do is fight and you never get to see that. Even Rowan's whole "Brooklyn" charactr had his moments of "I'm the Cool-Headed Guy".

Very true... poor guys. Kinda weird that they were all able to be tough with Anubis as chief but they can't with Kyra when she's the chief... even though Anubis and Kayura are pretty evenly matched in the end.

I think it's more like she she's actually able to do serious damage each and every single time she fights them. If you think about it, after the very first few episodes all they did was get wasted by a Ronin's surekill attack. Kayura almost NEVER get's really hurt. She retreats when her plans don't work, but get hit? Not often. Plus Talpa doesn't get drunk and beat her up like he did when he was their dad....
