  • muy gritado

  • Wow people are so critical! You have to understand that performances are much better in person than when they are recorded. The ladies did sound pretty and they were on pitch. If you listen to the recoding rather than watch it it doesn't sound off. (It just drags a tiny bit. Kudos to the conductor though for making it work.) One more thing, Vivaldi is hard to sing!

  • They arent with the orchestra what a pity

  • It sounds as though the soloists are being accompanied by a calliope.

How many tempi are there simultaneously? The violas and cellos have their own as do the violins and then again each singer has an individual tempo - not forgetting the organ which seems to be trying to jolly everyone along. I'm guessing that the acoustics must have made it difficult for the orchestra to hear each other or else they were not able to rehearse before the performance.

  • They hit no single note.

  • i really did not like it they had no chemistry the orchestra sucked it was really fast just awful!!!

  • wonderful

  • They need to stand still and not sway back and forth with the music. It is a big distraction to the audience and can affect the singing as well. If you need to keep a beat tap your toe "inside" your shoe so it is not make it noticeable.

  • I actually find it easily to have a bit of motion while I'm singing because it really helps me feel the music and the beat.

Not a nervous repetitive one knee bent, then the other bent or anything, but just to keep your legs unlocked and move in the way that will help the sound come out best. Like, if you sing a high note, it's best to bend a little and lean back a teensy bit to have enough back support to sing the note well

  • @stephpyle06 I tend to disagree. A body that moves feels the music that much more. To be static is not a natural state for true expression. There's 2 schools of thought on this, just wanted to share the counterpoint. :)

  • @djthalie I have no problem with trying "feel the music," its just when the movement is obviously a person keeping beat that is the problem. Bopping your body along with the beat (to keep count) of the music is completey different then moving with expression. Compare these girls' movement to someone like Dessay or Bartoli. The bopping just doesn't look relaxed; it looks like they are trying to keep their beat. Not trying to be overly critical; sorry if this seemed that way! Have a great day :D

  • @stephpyle06 I think the audio and video are not in sync, which would make it seem off. Yeah, kinda seems like they are thinking too hard about what they need to do for their performance. Points well taken. Like I always tell my vocal students - stop THINKING! lol.

  • mmm vale por el intento es una cancion muy dificil sobretodo para la soprano que entra segunda al inicio

  • they were at a completely different pace from the music....

  • Pobre Vivaldi, estan haciendo leña su Gloria

  • Pobre Vivaldi estan haciendo leña su Gloria..

  • too much noise... coulndt hear if they were any good...

  • sounds o.k., but they slow down a lot. they need to watch the conductor.

  • It's very sad that there is noise, but they are good. Lástima que haya ruido de fondo, pero aún así son buenas,no?

  • I will be performing this duet with my voice teacher in a couple days. I think their articulation could be much more light and bouncy.

  • sopranas fódas! ;]

  • I sang this Gloria ,the camber music has a LOT to be desired sorry for that

  • De qué va vestida la de blanco?

  • Nice!!

  • Vivaldi el Magno!!

  • i saw one of my partners and her teacher sing this one but this one is pretty good hahaha good job
