Why would he goto Japan after that swine Yoko tried to ruin the Beatles and everyone's relationship with John. That swine said she didn't know anything about the Beatles yet she knocked on McCartney's door and asked for songs for some artist friends birthday. SHE KNEW who the Beatles were and when McCartney gave Yoko John's address she came up with a plan to get into his life and stay there. She is a ugly person on the inside and out. Your critic agains Yoko may be true, but she's not Japan and he was invited to play his songs in this tour --after not playing live years-- by Clapton, who loves that country and had a very good band at the time --George was doing fine songs too, as it is documented in the video clips of the Japan concerts--. Besides that, what annoys me is that after George wrote his biographical book "I Me Mine", John Lennon got angry and it seems that both were in bad terms when he died.

@betokkikke I agree with you. I've watched a lot of the clips of that tour on youtube and the interviews. Just seemed like George wanted to get on stage with his friends and have a good time. My critique of Yoko is pretty harsh...wish there was a way to edit or delete youtube comments haha...

BTW, why that interviewer asked them stupid questions (about Major...)....really stupid. Maybe he didn't know how great opportunity he had.

I actually fell like he looked the worst of all four Beatles and this probably due to heavy drug abuse in the early days. From 1968 onwards he always looked much older than the other Beatles in my opinion and that is shocking since he was almost three years younger than John and Paul for instance.

Well, that's your opinion and I guess you're entitled to it.even though I think you're as blind as a vampire bat . .but I've never known George's drug abuse as any worse than the other three. John was the one on heroin and every other drug under the sun. Look at Bob Dylan if you really want to see someone who's aged badly.

Thanks for posting these. I've read the transcripts, but never saw the footage. So many people around the world miss George, including me - what a great artist.
