Preparing my relaxer

hi there, well you def want to prepare your hair, bleached & died hair is more fragile

the hot oil treatment is great but you want to rinse well if you want the relaxer to be well processed

after the relaxer, make sure you MOISTURIZE your hair, this will help with eventual breakage from the relaxer

@nunaavane ok i want to relax my hair , but i also want to use a hot oil treatment because my ends are dry and use that profectiv moisturizer creme stuff..so what shud i use first?

if you can stretch longer then do it like that : do the hot oil treatment, then do a light protein treatment & relax the week after this wash day

Wow, your hair looks so short here compared to in your results video after the relaxer. Funny how much shrinkage you can get with new growth. I can't wait till my self relax touch up, your vids are very helpful, thanks.

Good luck on your first self-relax and congrats on the 14-week stretch. I self-relaxed last weekend ( I used Vitale no-lye). I am working on stretching to 12 weeks. Love the videos thanks for sharing.
