I hated the beginning of the CD version of this song. it bothered me for some reason, after a while i made myself listen to and then realized it is an awesome song. Can't get enough of it. i hope these guys live for 100 years.. What an amazing band.

@danmv this is their rehearsals for their impending tour and they decided to stream it live over the net. Everyday for 6 (or 7) days they played a set to a select few people. On days 1 and 2 they played Morning View and Make Yourself in their entirety!

Day 5, after the 4th of July break and they were completely on fire that night! I watched it live online and I was freaking enthralled the whole time! They all were super hilarious, made jokes, said silly things, were relaxed and in really high spirits...SWEEEET! XD

Soooo... much.... fucking... better... LIVE than it is on the album!!!! That was an unbelievable performance of this song. This song along with In the Company of Wolves are easily the two stand out tracks off the new album. This video alone has made me excited for their upcoming tour. They seriously took that song to new heights live. Switchblade is much better live than it is on CD. Great song.

Is blown away an option? I like about half the songs off the new album, the others were too "ballad" like in my opinion. This might be a lot to ask but can I get an album that's mostly upbeat like this song? Maybe more of a throwback to Make Yourself or S.C.I.E.N.C.E. I love the new sound and style, but the tempo of a lot of the songs could use a little...amp up. Maybe it's just me, I just think you guys can do so much more with jams like this rather than long stretches of brandons voice.
