  • Wild Bill was a good friend and in this year played at the University Towers SEATTLE with our band. At break his best friend Jim Beatty (clr) and I went into a closet together to tell stories and get our horns 'lubricated'. LOL. Ah, a good time. Thanks for this post. Randy Keller

  • I heard Wild Bill at the Los Angeles Classic Jazz Festival in the 1980's. I am trying to find out information on this live recording I posted of Wild Bill with the Monrovia Old Style Jazz Band. A collector sent it to me years ago on a cassette and just identified the band he was playing with and that it was a live recording made at a jazz festival-No name of the festival or the date.
