  • "This is why you learn to walk places before moving to japan" should be the title. it's really only the traffic that is affected by this...

  • Worst place ever to drop something in the floor :P

  • OMG! tokyo is biggest!

  • WHERES THE DANCING STORM TROOPER!!!!!!

  • Lol, I would stand out soo much. xD

  • i feel like running them all over >:D

  • OMG is too crowded but i want to go there

  • this street is full. just like this video is full of weeaboos.

  • I prefer the calm atmosphere of Kyoto to this clusterfuck.

  • yuh

  • If a big event happens in there, some of them would be died by people`s suppressure

I have seen people were killed by random baseball fans when baseball park opens a door

99% of modern people are selfish. they don`t care whoever you are when theirselves are hurried

  • that is Japan`s bad side effect.

like every river`s flows are going to a big famous dam

  • How much money does it take just to build single underground walk/skywalk?

  • id rather live in japan than in US

  • Crowds don't bother me. I live for that shit.

  • SPARTAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

  • Dude its everyday life , you will get used to it. I did.

  • WALL OF DEATH!!!!!

  • i prefer london or paris!!

  • no lo soportaria

  • やっぱり渋谷!人大杉

  • wow that is one big population

  • i dont give a shit im still going to to tokyo

  • LMAO !! looks like a RIOT

  • where's waldo?

  • @NerdsOfAwesome8D HE'S AT YOUR MOM'S HOUSE!!!!!. SERIOUSLY!!!!!.

  • Like a war :))

  • Hey i can see my self at 0:22

    ;)

  • This is the epitome of humanity. Japan is probably the most civilized nation on Earth.

  • Well it's not like it's this crowded in all of Tokyo.

  • Damn God needs to start thining the herd over there! LOL

  • At least japan is crowded yet it has cold weather. Imagine singapore, its packed like this BUT ITS HOT AND HUMID. Fuckin shithole.

  • @kny4eva Singapore is great.

  • You did a great job getting a seat in Starbucks here! Personally, I love Tokyo.

  • slow motion wall of death :D

  • Look how clean the street is.

No street fight, no vandalism, everybody dresses clean and respect each other.

Also these people create Tokyo city-GDP that is equivalent of the entire state of Canada's.

  • And that is why I wouldnt live in there too.

  • I do have problem with crossing the road coz sometimes car still like to go on or even put more speed just before its red light, so its still not safe to cross the road even though the red light already on, some more only few people who cross the road so its scary if a car suddenly bump, but if it is like this, the car would not even dare to keep go on...

  • fuck you. Tokyo is the best bitch, what, are you from the USA, because the USA CAN SUCK MY DICK

  • Wall of death.

  • TOO RIGHT MATE!! TOKYO ROCKS MY WORLD!!

  • As opposed to, say, NYC, where you'll have to break every conceivable traffic law to get anywhere?

  • why bc people are actually obeying the crossing signals? i dont understand...

  • All the more reason to live there, there's so much people, looks like fun, in the US there is like not one person walking anywhere, only in big cities

  • lol looks like NYC on new years hahahah

  • Lol makes a video saying why they wont stay there yet they are living there

    which i found ironic... LOL

  • TOKYO IS SOOOOOOOOO AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! man Tokyo is a pane even the train.

  • Heaven for pickpocketers

  • @Capiaur Yeah, but the Japanese aren't like that. It's pretty awesome.

  • This is why I don't wanna live in my Arizona desert anymore.

  • holly shit! i cant imagine how the traffic is.

  • Awesome *~* Wanna live in Japan... :D

  • THIS is shitty lifestyle ..tokyo shit...

  • OH MY GOOOOD! I'm going to Tokyo next summer.... x____x

  • I was there 2 weeks ago it was awesome, had the best coffee ever in that Starbucks. I sooooo wanna go back ;)

  • CHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGE!

  • ^^ Hmm, and you see, I actually look forward to this. I EXPECT this, in Tokyo. When I move to Japan, and I don't find this, I will be very worried. (O_O;)

  • This is Shibuya, which is the most congested of all place in Japan, in the evening time (rush hour.) This place is full of youngsters and students alike, and you can find any stoes that you were hoping to find from all over the world, better than NY, no guns for sure. If you walk 10 min. from this intersection you will encounter castle like houses that costs much more than Manhattan, lived by actors, actresses and famous people.

  • there's nothing wrong here.

  • This is why i actually want to live there

  • What's wrong with you people! THIS IS THE REASON 'WHY' I'LL LIVE IN JAPAN!

  • It would be cool if someone played some metal and this turned into a mosh pit

  • @nycguy925 this would be so friggin epic :O

  • biggest wall of death ever

  • I'm still going to live there...vending machine undies.

  • o_O

  • too crowded

  • I NEED A BIG FUCKING TRUCK!!!

  • Never mind the crowds. I'd still love to live among educated, progressive, lean and healthy people in an immaculate, safe, and technologically advanced city.

  • @thephilosopherkartik FUCK YEAH! VIVA LA JAPON!

  • how did i get to call of duty bluck ops to this

  • @vega375 Probably tagged or somehow related to this video. XD

  • WALKING WALL OF DEATH

  • no need for cars anymore.. -__-

  • This is actually a very nice intersection, and works very well! There are also very nice underground passageways if you don't want to wait for the light...

  • You know why I want to live in Japan?

Because there, people are actually walking. With their own feet. They don't stop at every McDonalds they see, and they don't ride these funny little scooters that only are good for one thing: preventing you from burning calories.

  • @TheKujikochan that sounds like everywhere except the usa

  • i would have gotten lost as hell.

  • @feariekelly not me , i will follow my neighbour, if he goes in a cinema , then i missed my office.

  • ......because you might have to,,,,,,cross a road??

  • cool!

  • look at all the chinese people

  • woow..I though India and China had more people.

  • @shiburai For the record, India and Japan have a roughly equal population density while China has half of that.

  • I actually kind of like places like that ;P

  • It is one hell of a lot of people but it does seem to work. Looking at their faces, they don't seem too bothered.

  • lol

  • Moj razlog je zato sto sam rodjen u Sapcu

  • I THOUGHT THEY WERE ALLLOWED TO ONLY HAVE LIKE ONE CHILD SOMEONE IS HIDING THERE KIDS

  • @Mslovely1919 That's China.

  • I want to dress as a spartan and battle when the tides meet.

  • I Like your tradition.

  • Dear Nihonjin's you pleaase come to INDIA. We heartly welcoming you .. There is a lot of place to live in INDIA. put your efforts along with GREAT INDIAN people. Our knowledge and your hardwork make INDIA great PERMANANTLY.

    JAI HIND.

  • @ravisindhe There are many Japanese mind wants to be friends with India. If India was Japan's neighbors will very good. Will hope to die deepening relations between Japan and India.

  • o_O how many people live in tokyo lol ?

  • @alinajustme11 about 9million

  • not really. I live in Japan and its amazing! I've been there! and it was fun walking with hundreds of people haha xD. I love Shibuya!!! :]

  • They just gave Zebra Crossing a whole new meaning.

  • They are all going to the wave pool.

  • Heh kinda the same in vietnam, not so many pedestrians but an absolute swarm of motorbikes

  • Apparently though a lot of them hang out on the streets at a night time because they have smaller apartments.

  • Slow motion mosh pit with no music.

  • wow how exciting! lol I'm going to Tokyo

  • I read Japanese Manga since I was very young, I'm Vietnamese, an Asian, too. But I will never understand their culture, their behavious, their thought. Japanese are too complicated

  • dont ever carry anything in ur pockets when in toyko then

  • That's a whole lot of humanity...

  • i think that's the reason on how japanese people keep their body fit..

    they walk to work...

produce super brand car like TOYOTA,NISSAN...

but they sell them on international market...

no wonder the japanese is a country which practices healthy lifestyle...

  • WTF

  • Bad title.

Are you the queen? or some such thing?

  • great video :(

  • what if someone loses their child there? O.O big trouble!

  • where's waldo?

  • So in tokyo drift, when he drifts through the city, the people being that crowded is true? wow..

  • @MrTubeeer99 yes.

  • @MrTubeeer99 no only is it true, that is the same crossing as in the film. It's world famous for being that busy.

  • I would banzai charge

  • cars need to watch out they dont get run over by people. hahahahaha

  • MOSH PIT!!!

  • try finding your soulmate that way :D

  • they need to spread out more.. im talking in terms of civilization.. they already built one artificial island for an airport.. build one for agriculture.. then move the people from the cities into the rural areas.. and then the people from the rural areas into the areas at eh foot of the mountains.. but keeping the same level of tech as you move out. and people are concerned with the dropping birthrate? where would you put MORE people? ARGH!!!

  • I wonder how it will look like if some crazy driver won't follow the traffic lights

  • just think about Black friday

    0.o

  • @RiMeSnipers There is no Black Friday in Japan.

  • I imagine driveby's would be a lot more successful tokyo

  • tokyo is fukn bomb!!! good food, hot girls and great beer what more could u ask for

  • its better to go in the morning like 5 or 4 because its empty.

  • Wut every Japanese pplz speak english

  • they should really build a bridge for ppl to walk over on. so much easier, well not easier but less time consuming?? idk :p

  • if you say anything negitive about america you will get one of the top comments for sure cuz the rest of the world hates

  • You know why I won't live in Tokyo? People there speak Japanese. I don't. I will be lost as hell.

  • @uiruu

    Speak English then?

I study in Japan, they understand me well when I speak English.

  • @EdwardTheDuel Maybe so, but it wouldn't be authentic. And rereading my comment, I sound bigoted as hell. I'm not saying "They speak Japanese why the hell would I go there". I'm saying "I don't want to live in any country where I can't understand signs or maps or television. Visiting is another story however. I would love to visit Tokyo."

I also don't understand why this got so many thumbs up.

  • @uiruu

Aish... don't worry about that UNLESS you want to learn Japanese.

It takes only a few days to learn to read Hiragana / Katakana, however, I've learned Japanese very quick and I'm not a native Japanese speaker, therefore, it'll be hard only first months but when you get used to the language and the people or at least have the passion and motivation to learn Japanese, it'll go easy as hell.

  • @EdwardTheDuel I've heard several times that some/most of the Japanese dont particularly like foreigners. I dont know if thats true, but if you've lived there perhaps you can shed some light?

  • @Wildcat425B

I've heard that a lot too before I came Japan.

But when I got here I realized it's bullsh*t, people keep lying about the Japanese people.

They're very polite, respectful and dignified, they even like foreigners and will always be glad to help them, I'm a foreigner and I've never enjoyed that much around the world before I came Japan.

Google some Japanese forums, ask them anything you want.

  • @EdwardTheDuel What about the weeaboos? X)

Well I'm glad they're nice.... I don't have to feel so nervous about visiting there afterall... I mean if it happens.... S:

  • @RocketRodder

    What are weeabos?

  • @EdwardTheDuel hmmmm.....

well, Weeaboos are idiot non-japanese people who not only admire the culture (nothing wrong with that) or speak the language (nothing wrong with that either) but they try to act japanese, be japanese, and totally mimic their lifestyle, not to mention they completely freak out and have a baby when your opinion differs from theirs about their favorite pretend anime characters.

"NARUTI ISSSS REEEALLL!!!! IMA MARRY HIMMM!!!!112" -- no joke.

  • @RocketRodder

Those freaks are everywhere in the world.

You might not believe me but I know people who are the "African version" of "weeabo".

I haven't seen those kind of people in Japan but I'm sure there are some crazy weeabos out there.

You should at least VISIT Japan before you decide to live there.

and if you can get a job in Japan through the embassy you'd love Japan and thank me that I was there to suggest you of it.

(Depends if you like the Japanese culture and people ofc).

  • @EdwardTheDuel Oh heavens, I'd never live there! I'd just visit! *ROFL*

  • @Wildcat425B Definitly not. Japanese are the friendliest people on the planet.

  • @uiruu Totally :O

  • @uiruu ummm, pretty much EVERYBODY in japan speak english, they have to learn english in order to graduate from high school and try to learn the language, i am its beautiful :D

  • @XOcutie901 Yeah but the signs are largely in Japanese

  • @uiruu actually, if you learn katakana (which is like 40ish smbols) they spell out english words, so if you learn those 40-50 symbols (whcih are VERY easy) you can read just about every sign in japan lol

  • Going to Tokyo in a few months, this is going to be fun.

  • i was thinking film crow zero will be like this...

    LOL

  • White ants first then black lol~

  • MOM? MOM?! WHERE'D YOU GO?

  • MOSH PIT!!!

  • Wow this is crazy!! There are very many people in Japan!!

  • ready! steady! go!

  • japan should have a giant mosh pit!

  • This is the famous shibuya crossing. That's actually the worst I have ever seen in all of Tokyo which is not at all as crowded as you would think. I hate crowds but never really felt uncomfortable there, because people are very careful and try to make it work for everyone.

  • Oh my god.....

  • We are all ants....

  • the guy/girl that shot this video..she/he is on the sturbucks's side of the junction, right?

  • @goldhunting actually they didnt walk that fast really ,while watching this video i keep yelling at this guy walking so slow in the street with his girl withought a care,if i was driving id be pissed how slow he walks in the street.

  • @goldhunting idk wtf ur talkin about.. maybe down in the south u ppl are like that ROFL
