  • how do you make the deformation stay? I know that in Blender it is called "Plasticity" but I can't find it here.

  • OK.. Nice tut

    One doubt..

What's the difference between the "Reactor softbody from the menu and from the Reactor box"?

    Somebody help..please..

    Thanks

  • 04:53 That's not a problem with 3ds Max, Actually two key frames are must.. :)

You can press set key button before moving the box, that will fix the problem..

    Nice work.

  • nice video

  • hi..i wonder if you now if the object that is part of a softbody collection can actually be moved by keyframing?. i want to crash a softbody objet to a rigid body wall and i want the soft body object to be deformated...i can't find the way to do it...do you know if there's a way to do this?? thanks..

  • I havn't tried it, but you might be able to do that by selecting the object you want to be deformed, open the window that lets you change the mass of objects and stuff like that, and then check, unyieling, then try using autokey on it

  • the geo sphere is better because it's made of pretty much the same poly again and again, while the normal sphere has big polys at the equator and very tiny ones at the poles and some are triangles, some are quads and this difference looks like shit when it comes to soft body^^

  • Yeah, I recently figured it out. Thanks for saying though. I was helping someone in my class with reactor, and I figured out why geosphere works better.

    Thanks for commenting too
