In the second part of Crested Hens, try going from E to G rather than playing two Gs (So BBEG rather than BBGG)...You'll be amazed at the effect that little change has on the tune.

As i understand you mean the part between time marks 3:03-3:15. The actual chords are Emadd9-Emadd9-G-G. Emadd9-Emadd9-Em-G didn't seem nice to me but i found out Emadd9-Emadd9-G-Em9(F# bass) when i was trying your proposal and it sounded better.
