  • Just picked up another Wurli reed organ- a 56' 4410. I like the fact that it has Attack & Sustain tabs. The sustain is spooky- if you turn it off it holds the charge of the held notes so when you turn it back on you can hear the capacitors releasing the notes it was sustaining when you turned it off. Not like 5 minutes later or anything, but several seconds anyway. I really like this 4410 spinet free reed electrostatic Wurlitzer a lot. The flutes are smooth. String tone awesome for single mel

  • This is the identical model that graced several churches in Tulsa, OK, two of which I played regularly. The sound quality is greatly improved with the reverberation! Thank you for sharing this wonderful example of the electro-static reed organ, a real "blast from the past"! Your home is beautiful also, BTW.

  • Thank you...for playing something other than Bach or Bustehude! It is good to see someone get enjoyment out of an old Wurlitzer rather than gripe about its tone, etc. They were what they were! The Lutheran Church back home had one for years and it was playing perfectly when they replaced it with an Allen. Keep on making good music!

  • Even if we can't identify it, I think it is one fantastic organ.
