@grantorino2009 The band claimed Ace was sick at the time and I think that might actually be the case. He was there for the Solid Gold taping. Hell, he went on German TV to lip-sync I Love It Loud with them when he didn't have anything to do with Creatures. Look for it. I was surprised it existed.

From what I read he was at his home in Connecticut, kept stalling and eventually said that he wasn't coming. They were doing this live for the Italian awards show so they couldn't delay it. This is the ONLY piece of Kisstory I know so I hope I'm right!

This performance is 100% lip sync with all instruments recorded. It's the exact version from The Elder LP with the exception of the word "balls" being substituted for "guts" . There was NOTHING live about this except that they were there pretending to be playing and singing live.

This was originally supposed to be a live performance, but Ace refused to show up. Gene, Paul, and Eric actually postponed going on for a long time while someone was send to Ace's home to get him, but to no avail. It was then decided to perform as a 3 piece, lip synching to a tape.

is it lipsynched,because the version i have online from the Kiss my *ss dvd it has the I album version over it but here it seems not lipsynched because you don't hear ace's voice sometimes like in the real song.

I hate to disagree with you, but it seems that the whole performance was fake, including Paul's vocals. Paul sings off mic in several spots and yet the vocals are clear. It's pretty obvious really.
