  • makes you wonder....

  • what happens if u go through it?

  • I was 11, when I falling love with astronomy and. I got addicted with our universe and still can't get enough of it.

  • Nice vid, thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • is that another galaxy in the background there?

  • @ThePsyMinded It's one of Andromeda's satellite galaxies.

  • @157wowman aha..never heard of a satellite galaxy. still its beautifull!

  • @ThePsyMinded Yeah, it orbits the main galaxy, they are usually really small in comparison and normally irregular. :]

  • @alagodny If you're a pro creationist than surely it's gods fault not youtubes.

  • im definately going to buy Starry Night very soon

  • I like the Andromeda Galaxy I think there is a super race that dominates it I wish they would come and take me there lol

  • i like this video, even if it is 15 sec.

  • indeed the great god created the universe with their own arms without help from anyone. I bow to you my god

  • I see M32. :)

  • wow this is awesome, i wonder if thier is life in andromeda i wonder if its looking back at us thinking the same thing.

  • hey calm down, its ok. i believe in God through reason and faith. the reason part is this..... everything has a cause. for example, the tree planted outside got there because of a seed, that seed got there from another tree, that tree got there from another seed, etc. etc. eventually you have to have a first cause. i believe that first cause is God.

  • gonna travel there to meet my new GF i recently met over the space network.. it's a new network you can connect to a anyone around our galaxy..hahahaha... my GF is about 10ft tall who is blue and has a killer @ss/body.. can't wait to tap it..lol..

  • if thats true, shouldnt we be dead already? black holes suck up stars and destroy them, right. our galaxy is probably 8 billion years old, and if thats true, we'd be dead.

  • A "Black Hole" is just a really compacted star. If you get really really close to a black hole you can get sucked in, just like if you get too close to a star planet or moon. Stuff orbits a black hole just like a star or planet. You can have a stable orbit around a black hole just fine without getting "sucked in".

  • @2012TheAndromeda

Dude, there are dozen ways for us to die that are caused from nature.

The -tottaly- random event that would cause much more than just human extinction is the false vacuum decay.Should a false vacuum decay happen, the universe itself would be destroyed.

  • Okay, if the sun explodes, which i doubt, since it's not large enough to go super nova, Earth will not be like pluto, it will be destroyed.. Burnt to a crip. Exterminated. Sorry, thats the facts =| Poor poor earth..

  • it will swell and eat us

  • sun exploding?= LMAO!

  • actually all scientists believe the sun will explode in 5 billion years

  • um yeah cool. not worth worrying abbout.

    the end.

  • Actually 4 Billion.

  • thanks for the correction

  • @Arangatang1

Hell, we'd be gone long before the explosion. the sun would consume us when it turns into a red giant

  • The sun would be another nebula for billions of years for one thing and when the sun explodes Earth might become the new pluto.

  • actually the sun will not explode..billions of year from now the sun will swell(expand) then collapse into a white dwarf, our sun isnt big enough to collapse into a black hole

  • the sun will explode... it will expand into a red giant.... earth? becoem the new pluto? off 100%. earth venus mercury and mars will be burnt to a crisp becauset he sun will get so large.... and JUPITER will be SMALLER then the smalest dwarf planet

  • I wonder If the life in the andromeda galaxy know that milky way is on its way to transform it in approxamitly 5 billion years.lol when they colide we'll all be under ground under a thing I like to call gravestones or heaven.

  • nah by that time the sun will have exploded and the entire solo system will be dust just creating another solar system xD

  • the center of the galaxy is the neutron.

  • In the center of most galaxies, including our own, is a super massive black hole.

  • spookism

  • we don't have to worry about traveling to andromeda, because in a few billion years it will collide with the Milky Way, producing one super galaxy.

  • Maybe Andromeda is the heaven we know? is there a life in Andromeda?I hope so..

  • i know the answer. . . but silly humans can never keep such a secret.

  • LOLOLOLOL

    i just laughed so hard

  • if there is life in andromeda which is possible (and they won't be all green or purple like the alliens we know of) theres a big chance there will be some of the life forms known on earth and a slight chance for even humans but I guess we'll never find out

  • you idiot! the inside of a black hole isn't black!!! who would think of that?!?!?!?!

  • you dont really know because the ligh cannot escape :P

  • Well I suppose it's not colorfull either

  • @crazydancinggyal3

inside a black hole.. that's the hole of an unshaved bushy puzzy..lol or if you're gay, it's the hairy man's @ss.. hahahah

  • We'll never get to travel to Andromeda even in the future. At light speed it would take 2.5 million years...

  • andromeda is sooooooooo beautiful.. one of the most beautiful galaxies in the universe..

  • @datura1983 too bad its going collide into us :p then it will become even more prettier since its going to be part of the milky way.

  • @w8ingtocu

that would be cool and scary, seeing the andromeda galaxy colliding into the center of the milky way

  • @datura1983 one of the most beautiful that we know of

  • @datura1983 The Sombrero Galaxy is also worth to look at. Easy to find, right near by the Burrito Cluster.

  • @GrimmsBrother nerd

  • @datura1983 *cough*youwouldn'thavethetimetoseethemallinalifetime*cough*

Or in other words, if you live in 80 years, you would have 2.52*10^9 seconds to live in. There are an estimated 1.7*10^11 galaxies in the universe.

So if you could see one for every second you lived, you wouldn't get to see even near the half of them.

  • @Miktor dude shut up. no one cares about your boring dribble

  • @datura1983 It's science. What enabled you to see the picture in the first place.

  • @datura1983 Wow i never knew you asked everyone to make sure noone cares, it seems you missed someone because people are downvoting you and upvoting science.

  • @datura1983 fuck you i thought it was fascinating. im sorry to here your disappointed but you dont have be so rude.

  • these are real photos amazing isn't it

  • i've always wonder if these pictures are just painted image of what it looks like or is it actually photos from telescopes??? anybody?

  • Real photos. You can see the Andromeda without binoculars or telescope, but it will look like a little fuzzy/smudgy oval shape. If you use good binoculars or telescope you can see it better. It is the closest galaxy to us.

  • lawl

    im ya mum!

dats 1 of the well known religions

  • The Andromeda galaxy has more than a trillion galaxies and is almost 3 million lightyears away from the Milky Way.

  • umm... you mean solar systems right? because i doubt there's a trillion galaxies in one there(well, there may be a lot of galaxies behind it, but i don't think that was what you were talking about)

  • Sorry, I ment more than a trillion stars. :-)

  • well that makes much more sense.

  • There's nowhere in the Bible that says we're the only people. There are many galaxies and we don't know about life in other galaxies. We just know there is no life on other planets in our solar system. A black hole in space is also mentioned and the earth hangs upon nothing (Job 26:7 and Job 38:16).

  • no offense. I have read a lot of books. even ones with hard literature, but I have never seemed to read the whole Bible. Sorry, I don't know all of the stories

  • beautiful

  • first of all what religion says that we are the only ones who exist in the universe? No where in the Bible does it say that. it is only assumed that we are the only ones in the universe because no evidence has ever been proven. it is not against the Catholic faith to believe that there is extraterrestrial life. before you come on here spouting things about religion, look it up first

  • @hockeyfighter21

really didnt wanna post but im so fucking sick of reading bullshit from u guys... why do u believe in a god? its some ancient novel written by a bunch of crazy trippers living in the hills thousands of years ago and u take it all in and preach about it WHAT THE FUCK IUS WRONG WITH YOU!!!

  • if life exists in andromeda then god is not real. i do not belive in him myself. religion says that were the only living thing in this universe. i think this universe is to big for us to be the only living thing.

  • religion also says there is no such thing as dinosauss

  • If u dont mind. May I ask u, what is ur religion?

  • wrong... actually the bible speaks of dinosaurs... it tells of the beheamoth that when he roamed the earth he shook the ground... but that's jusy my opinion... i have a very different theory on what killed the dinosaurs but i don't want to start an e-fight because it's pointless

  • RIGHT! I was reading that in the book of Job!

    YEAH BABY!

  • your thinking of god in the wrong way, you have 2, the creator of the universe/multiverse.. or the personal one people pray to here on earth

  • The center pull of gravity is caused by the black holes. At least in spiral Galaxies anyway

  • I was not into astronomy much.. but the other i was watching a program called Universe and they were saying our milky-way is bound to collide with andromeda... wow, I'm glad i wont be around anymore.. lol

  • lmao... You know that they say even though we're gonna collide with Andromeda, the stars are still super-unlikely to collide. So you should be sad that you won't be there to see the amazing changes. lol.

  • @torontostorms

fail..the gravitational pull from those stars will still reck us up...

  • @sk8indy wrong, the space between the stars is enourmous just think of binary stars do they crash into each other no! and when you think about it that is very close considering that most stars are many light years apart.

  • @torontostorms I know this is a reallllyyyyyyy late comment, sorry. But both of the galaxies will become superheated..

  • @torontostorms but... isnt that.. dangerous lol... a group of planets coming tgt means also that they are close to each other.

  • @torontostorms agreed it would look like we have 5 moons!! but there just BIG stars

  • @aaron0811 you will be, if you take very good care of yourself...

  • Andromeda can be seen from what part of the earth? im about to buy a telescope i dont know much about where to find things at the moment lol

  • the bright spot is a black hole

  • whats the really bright light in the middle of the galaxy there sun?

  • The bright light in the center isn't a black hole. Not all galaxies contain black holes within its core. The brightness is merely a high concentration of stars due to the central pull of gravity.

  • actually most galaxies have a massive black hole in its center.. kind of explains why everything in a galaxy rotates around center and possibly keeps everything together

  • i think thats insane, that other life is possible out there. i mean you know god can have many worlds to "play" with and see how we live, hes probably been doing this all his days.

  • If God is real, I wonder if the other people in other galaxies call him, and if there's a satan in their world too.

  • well if there is aliens then there isn't god

  • Starry Night program is Awesome !

  • lol breathtaking???

  • breathtaking
