Also, technically, this game does have a storyline. It is the same from the arcade and snes. (Statue of Liberty is stolen). Personally, I really like this game from what I've seen of it. It looks like a pretty good port of the Arcade version, although I will admit that I miss the old music. Other than that, I think I really will enjoy this, because it is similar to the older ones. I really also liked the comic-book onomatopoeia placements throughout the game. For $10 bucks, its worth it!

I prefer the SNES version to the arcade because you had more control over your turtle and controls didn't feel as loose. But unless you were playing two players, you had to play as Raph because everyone else was too laggy, especially Mike. The animation in this one and overall control is much better than the arcade. You can attack in 8 directions. It follows the arcade layout, it's different enough from the SNES version to warrant a purchase. It's fun! On par with the first arcade and TMNT 4.

i think the indicator is to tell you where you are if u get lost....u get lost alot when playing with more than 2 players (maybe because all the turtles look alike) i liked the game it is easy to slam the foot soldiers and to throw them, in my opinion they should have "re-shelled" the snes version...mainly because its longer, this game is 2 short....

This is one of those games where I prefer local to online multiplayer. It just feels much better with someone beside you...I dunno just seems lik it's meant to be played like that. But anyway. I really like this game. It's a lot of fun playing it with a friend or two here and there. definately worth the price in my opinion.

btw: that indicator is just that. It shows you where your character is. In Multiplayer when there are 4 turtles and loads of shit going on it is pretty useful at times.
