I love my car and I really dont care for emissions. The fact remains CARB is simply a benefit to certain people only. its much easier for the government to put out regulations for the general public than it is to create a standard for all companies and factories producing any sort of "green house gas
For the last 10 years aircraft have crisscrossed are sky's releasing chemicals far more harmful to are health. Than the emissions from diesel fuels. These chemicals are falling on are food & water and are inhaled with every breath.
I very much enjoy your videos. I am one the many with scarred lungs. After years of biking I have developed non-allergenic asthma. I did not have asthma as a child nor anyone in my family.
I'm hoping for a future with all EVs that use energy from renewable sources.
I really appreciate your videos. Keep up the superb work.
Its funny carb makes both sides of the emission's issue mad. lol they are really useless. How about just making electric cars or retrofits and use them. Really with new mileage issues electric cars are an easy option. Which is the best retrofit option? Remember cost is an issue. I figure just doing it will make it happen.
Thank you very much for posting your videos. Obviously, you are a gentleman of considerable education and background. I fail to understand why we are not producing more electric vehicles, and mass producing these vehicles for everyone. The resulting benefits to the environment and the jobs created by mass production of electric vehicles are so obvious.

Not to mention it would free up oil for the airline industry and national defense.
Good luck with that. Unfortunately, that would require most citizens to actually bother to deal with politicians. Since politicians have the money to hide their garbage, most of it doesn't ever really hit th public in an obvious manner. Since it doesn't matter, and people don't care unless it directly affects them, nothing will change any time soon. And, beleive me, I really wish it would.
This country has had a Clean Air Act since the 1970's and it is a complete scam. EPA reports areas all over the country that have non-attainment status, yet do nothing about it. So few people care about this or have awareness of the damage and sickness it causes. You can't walk down the street without choking on the diesel exhaust of the supersized-monster pickup trucks that are proliferating.
Oh! that's right. Some of these people need to go back to school and take some macro/micro economics classes. There definetly are seen, and unseen subsidies going on here. Car manufacturers get to poison us, and make profit but not have to shell out the money for health consequences. Make them pay for the bills like the cigarette companies!

Diesel is the true way to go. It takes so much more energy to create one battery than to run a full sized SUV for a year. Look at Europe

Mass production of electric vehicles would free up oil supplies for a strong national defense, free up oil supplies for the airline industry.
Obviously benefits of electric vehicles are many. It would improve public health, and provide a cleaner environment and air quality.
Mass production would also create more jobs for our economy and improve the quality of life in America and decrease our dependence on foreign oil.

Remove lying politicians such as Schwarzenegger and Bush, and their appointed flunkies like the CARB. Nothing else works.

Not one candidate on either side is dealing with this issue. Romney is the worst, pandering to the impossible ideat that cheap gas will come back.

I agree. 25% of inner city LA kids have lung lesions and people argue about whether or not global warming is happening?
