  • Facebook page now up! "Robert J Kral Music", official.

  • I loved when they brought back Darla in season 4 to try to convice Connor not to kill the girl. And I cried during the scene when Wesley was dying and Illyria turned into Fred for him. Home is one of my favorite scores from the album.

  • The best season of Angel ! A magnificient music by Robert J Krall for the season 4 finale

  • In essence, this music is about letting a loved one go, that they might flourish and bloom in the world. That they might fly away from you like a beautiful butterfly.

  • This is my favourite Angel instrumental =)

It's so beautiful, and its the one time I felt really sorry for Angel.

  • Am I the only person who absolutely despised connor?

  • @frontlines208

    Nope.

  • @frontlines208 nope i hate connor with a passion!

  • My favorite season~

  • They should of kept baby Connor longer that baby was so cutee ^.^

  • I don't think Angel is better than BTVS.... I liked the characters and plot on Buffy overall better than Angel. Overall BTVS was better... I think Angel at some points was darker and more mature. With Buffy there was always something to fall back on, like her friends or family, but with Angel he's such a loner sometimes the viewer felt as isolated as he did, creating a less comforting atmosphere than with Buffy.

  • @BambiArmani I completely agree. Well said. =) While I still like Angel, Buffy is better. Overall, it was just more developed...

  • When does this piece of music play in Angel?

Is it when Angel gets home after Connor has been taken?

  • This piece is heard at the end of the Season 4 finale "Home". After Angel had everyone's memory wiped of Connor and arranges for him to have a new life, Angel goes and watches Connor through a window with his new family, Connor is happy at last and has no memory of his old life!

  • @greenmint75 Oh that bit, i know what you mean. Thank you for informing me :)

  • @greenmint75 do you have the song,or know the name of it, in the episode where everyone reverts back to their high school memories? in the end lorne is narrating and playing piano, cordelia gets her memory back and sees an image of the beast. the one leading up to her getting pregnant.

  • I don't know if it really surpassed Buffy, I mean I think it just evolved and was a more mature show, and so it just grew with the fans who continued on with Angel ... I hope I am making sense here hehe.

  • Can somebody please TELL me who wrote this song, so I can hopefully find the sheets? PLEASE! I really want this song, and have written a song based upon this one, but I want to be able to learn this one!!!!

  • @4752221 Robert J Kral wrote it.

  • I know it's "only a TV show" but I really hate how they raped the characters on it. Connor being brought into it only for him to be taken out at the end of Season 4 for a while, for Cordelia to be comotose then die, for Fred to die, for Wesley to die and if you've read the Season 6 comics, Gunn to be turned into a vampire and Angel to lose an arm. I just think it was a real shame since they fought and worked hard to prevail and in the end fate just pissed on them all pretty much. Oh well, :)

  • I guess you're right..although I don't want to even take the comics into consideration..

But yea..the storyline, even though the taking over of W&H was cool, went kinda down the drain..

  • I thought them taking over W&H was cool too until I realized (or maybe just interpreted) that it was W&H's plan all along, because they had all of the Angel Investigations team under their thumb, I suppose until they fought back at the end of the very last episode?. I don't want to take the comics into consideration either, I haven't read either of the Angel or Buffy ones.

  • Gunn too?! FUCK! NO ONE IS SAFE!

  • @HealingIsDifficult the best part about angel is that any of the main characters can die and are willing to lay their lives on the line to fight the good fight. The whole point of the show is that they fight not because they have to, but because they WANT to.

  • @HealingIsDifficult Yeah, unfortunately, while I adore these shows, a lot of characters I truly adored and loved died. In Angel, I think Fred's death was the most difficult for me, just because she was so sweet and lovable. But lots of characters dying is what you have to expect from Whedon. Lol! xD

  • @HealingIsDifficult What made it worse for Wesley was, his character had been shat on since Buffy. He fails as a watcher, gets sacked, ends up with Angel and crew, gets shat on because of his lack of confidence. Then along came Fred, whom he loved almost as soon as she joined the crew. But she dates Gunn, then he lives with the thought he woulda killed his dad, if it wasn't a robot. THEN HE FINALLY GETS TO HAVE FRED and she fucking dies soon after. WOW. SO Shitty. <3 Wesley deserved happiness.

  • @HealingIsDifficult They challenged true evil. Faced it toe to toe, looked it square in the eye, and spit in its face. They had their world torn asunder for doing so, and came back for more. They may have met an ill fate but they faced it like Champions.

  • @HealingIsDifficult Thats not raping characters. You cant say its raping, just ecause they didnt get happy ending. I actualy like, that supporting cast in Angel is changing and evolving over the time.

  • omg! i can't believe this is cordelia! she changed a loooot!

  • wats this song called and whos it by????

  • I know this is a late reply, but this track is from the Angel soundtrack "Live Fast, Die Never (Music from the TV Series)" by Robert J. Kral, it's track 5 and is called 'Home' like the episode it's from. Hope you find it :)

  • škoda že už tam není crdelie :(

  • pozeráš Angela na PRIMA COOL ?

  • I love this score...its so touching!! I loved every single series of Buffy and Angel...they were both amazingly done by Mr. Joss Weadon!! Nuthin much worth watching on TV now....R.I.P Andy Hallet aka Lorne & Glenn Quinn aka Doyle x

  • plz send me a msg tell me wht is the name of this music n who plays it i cant find it any where ....plzzz..

  • this music is so beautiful

  • I miss Angel.....it was like the best tv show ever and one of the saddest episodes was when Holtz kidnapped Connor and took him to the hell dimension....that made me cry!

  • good song good series r.i.p. andy hallet aka the host aka lorne

  • Amazing song!!

  • Love the song, hated the season.

For me season the beginning of season 4 and the end of season 3 were the worst in angel..

I really wished they hadnt brought Conner back or had him at all..I <3 Darla and im glad she had an amazing death scence and still retained humantiy and all after re-vamping but really connor turned out to be an ass who just screwed with the whole series!

    Thnx 4 the upload!! btw!

  • So true... i 4 season was the bottom hit whit Angel and i have watched it only once...

The last one was nice, but the ending could have been lot nicer... (Maybe even making Angel a human, and spike too, wouldunt been to horribe to do that... because how can you chance your faith or destiny by writting on a piece of paper whit your blood?)

But yeah, i got your point there... they could have done it lot better.

  • Are you kidding? Season four was epic. Meandered a bit, I won't deny, but the fact that it had a central plot arc that flowed from episode to episode was something I adored, rather than the traditional Buffyverse "monster of the week," format. Don't get me wrong, that's all well and good, but Angel dared to be different in season four and it payed off.

Joss wouldn't allowa series ending where everything's shiny and happy at the end. That's the point of season four--the world is harsh and cruel.

  • Yes, but it also was a mistake, people dont expect a happy ending for every season, but that was cruel. Making Cordelia evil(Well, it wasen't Cordy..) And then Connor, it was sick. Connor is like Cordy's son, and it was yak, for me... Sure they made a good job freaking me out, the episodes are well written and all, but still... they wouldun't have to make Cordy go all fleshy whit Connor.

And hey, I do know that world is harsh and cruel, that is just all day life. :)

  • The fact that it wasn't really Cordy doesn't make it any easier for you?

Everything came together in that season--everything in the series, and some aspects of Buffy, built up to one season of Angel where they culminated in an explosion of epic proportions. And Connor, yeah, that was icky. But he was also probably one of the best written and developed characters on the show. When he lost his will to live at the end, damn, you really believed it, because you saw what he went through.

  • Well, kind of... Connor is well written messed up boy, but i never really liked him, and it was just seeing Cordy like that was horrible, she was killing and being mean, sure it was not really her but... still it was her body. And it was funny when they brought Angelus, Faith and then Willow. It was about Connor, I understand him so well, exept the bagging my almost-like-mom part, and it was horrible and tragic that he tried to kill him self, and try to kill Codry, it was just so dark.

  • to be honest i thought the entire concept and series waas awsome, season 4 was the best for me, i loved how each series blended into one another to tell a greater story, instead of just after 60 mins the good guy won, when most of the time they only won by chance after the end of the series.

and being english myself i have to say Wesley was the best character, how he started as the stereotypically englishman and ended up being a badass :)

and Fred god damn........she was stunning :D

  • They all wore great, and the whole serie as a one whole story is amazing, but it is just me who got so freaked by the fourth season. And one thing in all that kind of series has, is that the good guy never wins, he or she will be always the one who loose, 'cause there will be always be another badass behind the corner and only few heroes to take care of them.

And when Angel ended, it was the great sample of that good guys never win, like angel he lost everything he held dear.

  • Totally agree. And that whole Connor/Cordelia thing toward the middle and end was just gross. I think the only thing that was worth watching in season 4 (besides Darla showing love for Connor) was when they brought Angelus back. He was such an AWESOME bad guy.

  • I agree! Angelus was an amazing character im sad that they got rid of him.

  • @AdrienneFrailey With all due respect, I've never heard a single intelligent argument against S4. It's all either "it's too dark" (darkness does not mean badness) or "Cordy+Connor is GROSS" (it was supposed to be!). Not all television has to make you braindead. Try watching "Charmed" or "The Vampire Diaries" instead; Angel may be fantasy/horror but it is aimed at adults who can handle dark and mature storylines.

  • @AdrienneFrailey That wasn't Cordelia she was possessed by Jasmine.

  • @AdrienneFrailey But even having Angelus in season 4 was really irritating for me because all the other main characters just went completely full retard all the time when he was around.

  • @AdrienneFrailey Yup, in my personal opinion... Angelus was the BEST villain in Angel or Buffy the Vampire Slayer

  • pls can i have this song ???is wonderful

  • so sad, but still beautiful:(

  • such beautiful music!!!!
